With an area of 28,000 acres, Bauhinia Village is the largest planting area of Bitter Bamboo in the country and the only gene bank of Bitter Bamboo germplasm resources in China, known as the "Hometown of Chinese Bitter Bamboo" and "Hometown of Chinese Bamboo Flute". There are more than 160 bamboo flute production and processing enterprises, more than 100 e-commerce companies, and more than 1,500 employees. Last year, the annual output value of the bamboo flute industry in the village was 340 million yuan, the sales volume of bamboo flutes reached 4.5 million, and the per capita annual income of villagers reached 53,000 yuan.
