On the afternoon of April 23, in order to promote Sino-Austrian cultural exchanges, enrich the cultural life of the masses in our city, and improve the musical literacy of teachers and students in colleges and universities, the Vienna Soloist Chamber Orchestra of Austria came to North Sichuan Preschool to carry out the exchange activities of elegant art into colleges and universities. Seven musicians, including Pavel Kakhnov, a key member of the Vienna Soloist Chamber Orchestra from the "World Capital of Music", and local teachers and students from Guangyuan carried out live music exchange activities in the North Sichuan Preschool Concert Hall (Rotunda Hall).

It is reported that the orchestra is composed of seven Viennese solo musicians, the main members are from the world-famous Vienna orchestra, including two violinists, one viola, one cellist, one double bass, one pianist and one clarinet. The exchange activity not only included a wonderful guided tour of the concert repertoire, but also set up interactive seminars and master classes, providing teachers and students with the opportunity to communicate and learn face-to-face with the top international musicians, and their repertoire such as "Waltz of Spring", "Chatting Polka" and "Blue Danube" covered works from classical to modern times, showing the development of Vienna's musical art across a century, and the musicians won the applause and love of the teachers and students with their superb professional standards and perfect interpretation of classical works.

In the on-site exchange and interaction session, in addition to demonstrating its exquisite performance skills, the members of the orchestra also introduced the history and style characteristics of music in Austria and Vienna through theoretical explanations and on-site demonstrations, leading the teachers and students to appreciate the performance skills of musicians in the city of music and the charm of traditional music, deeply feel the emotional and cultural connotation of classical music, and enjoy the beauty of elegant art. Through various forms of cultural interaction, it not only deepens students' understanding of European classical music, but also builds a new bridge for people-to-people exchanges between China and Austria.

Subsequently, pianist Pavel Kakhnov had a piano performance exchange with the student representatives on the scene, and patiently gave one-on-one guidance on the students' fingering, playing skills, and playing methods.

During the exchange, the leaders and guests attending the event presented calligraphy and creative works of our school to seven musicians, and the pianist Pavel Kakhnov and three teachers and students of our school jointly presented the eight-hand joint performance "My Motherland and Me".

This event not only provided a unique audio-visual feast for teachers and students, but also brought a good exploration for the school to carry out international cultural exchanges and cooperation. Teachers and students at the scene expressed their hope that the school can continue to hold such exchange activities, so that everyone can benefit from the world-class music education resources, and at the same time can promote China's excellent music culture to the world stage.

In the evening, the Vienna Soloists Chamber Orchestra held the 2024 Guangyuan Music Exchange Exhibition in the studio hall of the Sanyi Building of the North Sichuan Preschool School, playing the classic music works of Frederick Chopin, Johann Strauss Sr., Dmitry Shostakovich and other music giants, and presenting the natural sound from the "City of Music" to the audience.

More than 200 people participated in the exchange activities, including all teachers and students of the music education major of North Sichuan Preschool School, representatives of music teachers from schools in Guangyuan City and student representatives from Guangyuan Middle School.
