author:Xinhua pictures

The Austrian National Library is located in the heart of Vienna and is an integral part of the Hofburg Imperial Palace complex. Its predecessor was the Habsburg Royal Library, which was renamed the Austrian National Library in 1920. The Pronck Room of the Austrian National Library is regarded as one of the most beautiful ancient libraries in the world, with its ornate frescoes and some 200,000 ancient books between 1501 and 1850.
