In the middle of spring, the bauhinia flowers on both sides of Zou Han Road, Handian Town, Zouping City enter the flowering period, and the bauhinia trees compete to bloom. The purple-red, butterfly-shaped flowers are clustered close to the branches, and the flowers bloom wherever the branches stretch out, which is beautiful. The breeze blows, the bauhinia branches sway, and the flower shadows are sufficient, becoming a beautiful scenery on the road of Handian. From time to time, pedestrians stop under the bauhinia trees to take pictures of flowers or take selfies to enjoy this intoxicating spring scenery.
The redbud flower, also known as "full strip red", is regarded as a symbol of "prosperity, magnificence, and progress" because of its vigorous vitality and easy reproduction. It is understood that the bauhinia bloom period on both sides of Zou Han Road is from late March to early April every year, when it blooms, the flowers are full of trees, purple and red, very beautiful, and the road is also called "Bauhinia Avenue". With a total length of more than 1,200 meters, Bauhinia Avenue echoes with Fusheng Garden, Sports Park, Hehe Wetland Park, and Kilometer Golden Avenue (Golden Acacia), forming a unique Handian "color ecological area".
