On the afternoon of June 7, Jiang Fangzhou responded to the incident, admitting that she participated in a three-month exchange event organized by the Japan Foundation for International Exchange in 2016, during which she conducted academic exchanges and discussions with Japanese writers, and also went to Japan to exchange with scholars and teachers related to rural education and the transformation of the environment for the elderly.
