People's Daily News, Beijing, January 16 (Reporter Liu Wei) On January 16, "Guozi Cultural Context - Joint Exhibition of Culture and Art of Successive Dynasties" opened in the noon gate exhibition hall of the Palace Museum. Sponsored by the Palace Museum, Beijing Municipal Cultural Relics Exchange Center, Confucius Temple and Guozijian Museum, the exhibition selects 179 important works of the Jin Shi group since the Tang Dynasty, and displays the achievements of outstanding figures in philosophy, classics, history, literature and art, as well as their contributions to the prosperity and development of Chinese civilization through the theme units of "The Road to Jin Shi", "Erudite Hongru" and "Art Garden Qunying".

The main purpose of this exhibition is to inherit the excellent traditional Chinese culture and carry forward the traditional Chinese virtues. Du Haijiang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of the Palace Museum, said that the holding of this exhibition, by telling the story of cultural relics full of family and country feelings and reflecting the family style of tutors, enables the audience to fully understand the interrelationship of "self-cultivation, unity of family, governance of the country, and peace in the world" in Chinese culture, and knows the reasons for the "family and country feelings" of Chinese people since ancient times, as well as the responsibility of "the sound of wind and rain reading books in the ears, family affairs and state affairs and the world's affairs".

Chen Mingjie, director of the Beijing Municipal Administration of Cultural Relics, said that in this exhibition, the Palace Museum, the Beijing Municipal Cultural Relics Exchange Center, the Confucius Temple and the Guozijian Museum jointly provided a cultural feast for the general public, tapped cultural potential, promoted cultural exchanges and cooperation, and made positive contributions to the capital's cultural and museum undertakings and the construction of national cultural centers.

It is reported that "Guozi Cultural Context - Successive Jinshi Culture and Art Joint Exhibition" will be exhibited simultaneously in the main hall of the Noonday Gate of the Palace Museum and the exhibition hall of the Dongyan wing, the Temple of Confucius and the art hall of the Guozijian Museum, from January 17 to April 2.
