But earlier, I had always thought that the origin of the name light-lipped fish was that it had glowing lips. I have actually seen the light-lipped fish, and after knowing that its mouth cannot shine, I no longer have strange fantasies about it, and instead pay more attention to the ornamentality of the juvenile bare lips. They retain a peculiar appearance before they become adults, with horizontal bands of black rings, hooped on the light-colored body, which is particularly eye-catching. Such fish will be good to watch in the aquarium.
Juvenile light-lipped fish are only a few centimeters long and can be polycultured with most fish. And as long as the lighting and landscaping are in place, it can improve the ornamentality of the fish tank by a notch. We can mix small light lips with trout, bream, white cloud gold wire or broadfin carp, and the larger the tank, the better the state of the fish.
