On April 21, experts at the Daqishan Conservation and Management Station of Jiuling Mountain Nature Reserve in Jiangxi Province, when investigating the native fish of the local stream, accidentally found that a light-lipped fish known as the "Mountain Creek Elf" was distributed in the local stream. After identification, the species was identified as a bare-lipped fish. It is understood that the bare-lipped fish is a new species surveyed by fish in the Jiuling Mountain Nature Reserve. The original origin of Ke's light lip fish is the Nankeng River near Pingxiang City, Jiangxi, which is mainly distributed in the Xijiang River System, Poyang Lake Water System, Zhejiang Xianju and Anhui Shitai.
