The Frankfurt winger was loaned out to the first division and just announced an official buyout from AC Milan this summer.

Norwegian teenager Heyug was recruited by Eintracht Frankfurt last summer to play in the Bundesliga on loan and in the form of a buyout clause activated after successful relegation. Last season he played 38 games for the team in all competitions, including 11 appearances as a starter, handing over a list of 3 goals and 2 assists, and won the Europa League with the team.

According to the agreement reached by the two clubs, Frankfurt officially activated Heyug's buyout clause at the end of last season, and the two sides signed a contract until 2026. It is reported that Eintracht Frankfurt paid a total of 15 million euros, including 2 million euros of loan fees, 8 million euros of buyout fees, 2 million euros of relegation bonuses and 3 million euros of Europa League winning bonuses, and the price of this transfer fee also made Heyug the champion of Frankfurt's team history.

Heyuger was more likely to rotate Danish Lindeström last season, but with the club bringing in attacking strikers such as Götze, Mu'ani and Alidu this summer, there wasn't much time left for the Norwegian to play. Players have not been able to make it to the big squad in the first two rounds, and both management and the coaching staff believe that it is a better option to rent it out. Belgian side Ghent is likely to be his next choice for the new season, and the contract will not contain any form of buyout clause.

In an interview with the media, the management said that perhaps because of the pressure exerted on himself, Heyuge's performance on the pitch was often too sloppy, and a more relaxed and quiet environment may be more helpful for him to play, and the players themselves need to go all out to deal with the competition and realize their potential to avoid being overtaken by other Frankfurt teammates.
