In May, when I walked into Jiujing Township, Lancang Lahu Autonomous County, Pu'er City, Yunnan Province, the plum trees on both sides of the road were full of red and green plums.
Pick the plums from the tree, soak them in clean water for half an hour, then rinse them off. Put the chili, garlic and other ingredients into the bucket, crush and then put in the washed plums to continue pounding, and finally add a little salt and white sugar to taste.
The plum is sweet and sour and slightly spicy, appetizing and refreshing to eat, and it is the "artifact of cooling off" in the hot summer.
