Counting the development history of the new Eden universe for more than ten years, there are not many villain bosses who can destroy most of the universe like Thanos, and as for the existence of the entire starry sky that can be "paralyzed" by pure technical means, there are only a few. Because of this, the genius boy named Hector Xavier Monseg left a "black history" in the chronicle of New Eden.
You may not have heard of the foreign guy's name, but you should have some impression of the "infamous" cable pulling incident a decade ago, and Hecht Xavier Monseger was the initiator of the hack.

Around 2011, the New Eden Universe was hit by a massive electronic attack (note: DDoS attack on game servers), causing tens of thousands of players to suddenly lose contact with their ships during the voyage and forced their beloved warships to stay in dangerous galaxies.
The scope and duration of this electronic attack was so wide that at one point, the confused and angry players burst the CCP customer service phone, asking them to repair the server as soon as possible and ensure that the ships that were wandering in the dangerous galaxy could return to the hangar safely.
But because THE CCP adheres to the principle of not interfering in the development of new Eden, it cannot give players an accurate answer, or perform a game-like "retraction" operation. Therefore, after this unexpected electronic warfare occurred, it almost caused a conflict between the player and the CCP.
But what most people don't know is that this tragic cosmic-level tragedy is likely to be caused by a small verbal conflict?!
One of the truths closest to this vicious event is that Hecht Xavier Monseg was bullied by interstellar pirates while experiencing EVE, or simply looked at the forces of one side.
This allowed the genius hacker to launch a purposeful and targeted attack on the EVE server, causing players in specific regions to be forced to interrupt their voyages, which in turn affected the pattern of new Eden.
The most powerful proof is that after Hecht Xavier Monseg attacked the EVE server, he hacked out many games such as Minecraft and League of Legends that he often played, and he was really a teenager with the problem of "pulling the network cable if he couldn't fight".
Fortunately, after the outbreak of this appalling "unplugging network cable" incident, CCP relied on superb anti-hacking technology to become the first online game to "slow down" from the hacker attack during that period, which more or less saved the negative reputation of players and exposed a small hand technology.
By the way, because EVE's built-in online chat room will record the player's IP, it is very likely that the CCP will assist the police to follow the network cable and arrest this "Thanos" boss who almost destroyed the entire universe.
Because according to the media reports of that year, we can learn that Hecht Xavier Monseg used a real IP address at one time, logged into a chat room and left his real name and address with netizens over the air because of a verbal conflict, and was found by the FBI Shunteng.
Judging from the behavior itself, it is very similar to the player's habit of talking in the EVE chat room, coupled with CCP's excellent technical support, it is difficult not to think that the hacker inadvertently exposed his address in the game.

Given Hecht Xavier Monseg's strong technical prowess and his sincere and repentant attitude, the EVE-loving 19-year-old was given the opportunity to make a contribution. During his imprisonment, he assisted the intelligence agencies in completing the reinforcement of the defense system, and also gave up many hacker accomplices, which performed extremely well.
