He was about to get married, but he was sealed off at the construction site, and the result was very unexpected

In April, volunteers distribute antigen test kits to residents in a small district in Pudong New Area. A door in the building has not yet been unpacked, and even the floor is covered with decoration paper, which does not look like it is inhabited. The volunteer was about to leave when the door creaked open.

Xiao Fu, a 28-year-old decorator, came to work as a seamstress in a house in the community on March 13, which was originally a day-end work. At 11:00 p.m., when Xiao Fu finished his work and was ready to leave, he found that the community was sealed because of a positive case. At that time, it was only half a month before his scheduled wedding date.

Xiao Fu had to live in the unfinished home of the owner of the household——

The rough room was tiled but without any furniture, no fridge, no toilet.

Xiao Fuben was worried that he would be trapped by hunger and cold, but for the next fifty days, the neighbors in the building spontaneously formed a chain of mutual aid, a stack of cooked hot meals, a bag of snacks, a Wi-Fi password on the wall... The foreigner Xiao Fu did not expect that he would live entirely on the goodwill of a building.

Since April 27, the number of new infections in a single day has been below 10,000 consecutively, and the Rt value of the effective transmission index of the epidemic has also decreased continuously.

On the first day of May, experts at a press conference on the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic in Shanghai said that the social surface of Shanghai's six districts was basically cleared. The number of "disease-free communities" continues to increase, and a normal life is expected to return.

The story of the little charm is not unique. In the days when the city is temporarily suspended, the unseen, spontaneously fermented kindness and warmth in those hidden corners provide shelter for the repressed heart and make up for the missed spring breeze for the trapped people.

The following is a readme of the small characters.

01

"The kindness of a great place to stay"

I am from Anhui, came to Shanghai to work for more than 7 years, in recent years, mainly take orders to do decoration odd jobs, the income is relatively stable. At noon on March 13th, I came alone to the current family's home to do beautiful sewing, because there can be no dust in the sewing work, and there can only be one person on the scene.

After 11 p.m., when I was about to walk out of the community, I was suddenly told that the community was beginning to enter a closed state, and I was blocked inside the gate.

I was timid, so I had to go back to the head of the household. That night, I slept in the car I was driving, and when I woke up the next day, the whole neighborhood was completely locked down, and the time of unsealing was unknown.

The only consolation was that the owner's home was not in a complete rough house, with electricity and water, and that although the kitchen was not ceilinged, the gas stove was barely working.

"Sleepy" in the wisdom, I had to find a way to find a way to find available tools from the side to solve three meals a day, the first two days of lack of kitchen utensils, you can use a sewing knife instead of a kitchen knife to cut tomatoes and cabbage. There was no toilet in the bathroom, only a bare sewer, and naturally there was no bathing condition, so I washed it with boiling water in a bucket filled with reinforcement.

The next day I was stranded, my family sent quilts and a change of clothes from the other end of the city, and I made a bunk in the corner of the living room next to the window and the charger, and the sun came in during the day, and from the 14th floor, the view was densely packed with high-rise buildings in the city. Where to imagine, one day I will face such Shanghai, a stay is more than a month.

However, the next morning, my family was also locked up in the community, and there was no way to send me supplies.

The head of the household I was connecting with was a girl, and I was thankful that she didn't mind me living in her house, and she told me that if there was anything she needed, she could help send it over. But before she could wait for her kindness, within two days, the girl's own place was sealed off.

The neighbours I met on the elevator pulled me into the building. There are more than 130 families in this building, and everyone put a public basket in the hall of the unit building, called the "love box", people can put excess supplies in it, leaving it for the elderly living alone in the building without children.

Closed for more than a month, the government sent 4 times of supplies, including melons, potatoes, eggs and meat, although the things are rich, but the amount is not much, more often the owners still need to rely on group purchases. I like to drink Coke, bought 3 *24 bottles in one go, and then cut open the largest bottle to grow shallots.

Since the owner's house did not yet have a refrigerator, I set aside a few sausages from the supplies I received, and most of the remaining vegetables were put in the "love box". I took a photo of the group, but I didn't expect someone to reply immediately: "What you want to eat, I can cook and send it over." ”

To my surprise, it's not just talk. Within the first week of being closed, I received hot meals from neighbors, roasted chicken, carrots, vegetable platters, and authentic leek boxes. The little sister next door brought me snacks and drinks that she had stockpiled herself, and brought me a little as soon as I was home. What's more, the WIFI password of his house was shared next door, so that I could go online.

The most common person to bring me meals is the yingzi mother-in-law on the same floor, who is 72 years old this year, and there are only two elderly people living in the family, her and her wife. Ying Zi's mother-in-law is a native of Henan, when she was just closed, she went through more than a dozen group purchase channels, and finally bought flour, bought more than 60 pounds in one go, steamed steamed steamed buns and buns at home every day, and let everyone go to her home in the group to get it. But I think she should have sent me the most times.

Ying Zi's mother-in-law was most afraid of people thanking her, "You don't want to say thank you to me, it makes me embarrassed." She said.

There was no way, in return, I had to help the two elderly people operate group buying and do antigen tests.

Ying Zi's mother-in-law often said an old saying: "There is food for hunger, clothes for cold, and words for zhi (people)." ”

Ying Zi's mother-in-law is a person who has been starving in the Eight Classics. In the difficult times of the last century, there was nothing to eat, she ran to the mountain after school to pick wild vegetables, went home to cook porridge and dishes, and after eating, she was satisfied, and then ran to the mountain to play wildly.

At that time, "there is no food to eat, but there is freedom," said Ying Zi's mother-in-law, "now there is no freedom for the time being, but there must be food to eat." ”

02

"Gathering place for good people and good deeds"

With the elderly of the same age as Ying Zi's mother-in-law, there are 18 households in more than a hundred households in a building, many of them will not shop online, will not go online, the young people in the building will take turns to buy supplies for the elderly, some old people need to diaper, some teeth are not good, can only eat soft or liquid food.

I also knew that there was an eighty-something couple living on the top floor, who didn't usually go out much and didn't like the Internet. After ten days of isolation, as if there was not much left to eat at home, the leader of the building group collected "materials suitable for the elderly to eat" in the group.

Everyone sent back and forth to the top floor, I also took some of the milk bread I bought, and when I walked to the door, I found that the old man's home was piled up from the concierge to the corridor, milk bread, eight treasure porridge, noodles and so on.

In fact, in most of the quarantine areas in Shanghai, residents have already begun to build a mutual aid system, but I did not expect that "mutual aid" is really dedicated, not only what is necessary for life.

At the beginning of April, there were old people in the building offerings to the bodhisattva, asking in the group if anyone had extra fruit to lend her, and as soon as the voice fell, someone immediately said, "I will send you over", when the isolation had just begun, no one knew whether their own materials were enough to support and how long to support.

Later, the old man who believed in Buddhism came to the building manager with more than sixty eggs and insisted on distributing the eggs to the "widowed old man" in the building. But in fact, she herself is also an old man, an old man in his sixties to send eggs to an old man in his eighties, which is really cute. She also choked up and asked, "When will I start donating money," as if she were really getting through a difficult time.

There was no entertainment, no books, no work to do, I couldn't stay idle, once they needed an Android phone to scan the code for nucleic acid testing, I took the opportunity to become a volunteer. Mainly, other people in the building may also need to work from home, but I have nothing to do. I didn't have much culture, and I didn't have the conditions to make food and distribute it to my neighbors, so I had to contribute.

In the past month, I have spent about four hours a day on volunteer work, mainly responsible for scanning codes to measure nucleic acid and helping residents carry couriers from the entrance of the community back to the unit building. Some home appliances such as air conditioners bought by the owners were stopped at the gate, and I also carried them back.

The work of volunteers is not limited to measuring nucleic acid and taking couriers, and everyone's starting point is to maintain everyone through this difficult time. Upstairs, there was an old gentleman in his eighties who had made an appointment for surgery in April, but now even the nanny was isolated outside. After two weeks of isolation in our community, the whole city entered the quarantine, and the old man did not have a rut, so he asked the building chief and the neighborhood committee for help.

Finally, it had to be a volunteer, the neighbor Xiao Yan was originally doing the work of the community gate goods express delivery sanitize, after learning about the old man, she did not say a word to free up the time at home office, went to the door to help the old man cook, clean.

There are too many such things, and after a month, the WeChat building group has become a "gathering place for good people and good deeds", and you can casually encounter a thank-you letter: "Last night at 9 o'clock someone sent a bag of rice, and when I got up and opened the door, there was no one there." Please tell me. ”

03

A warm place

In fact, according to the original plan, on April 14 this year, I should go home and get married.

At that time, when it was sealed, it was exactly half a month before the wedding date, and I took it for granted that I could go out after only ten days and half a month. Who would have thought that the first wait would be 50 days, and the wedding date would be placed far in the future. When I first came, I wore cotton jackets, and now everyone has short sleeves and shorts, and spring has passed without paying attention.

Two days ago, my daughter-in-law was arguing with me, and she asked me what I wanted to do the first time I wanted to unseal, and I said I wanted to go home and eat a meal that my mother made, beer and grill crayfish. She wasn't happy, I didn't want to go back to see her in the first place, haha.

The neighborhood I am now trapped in, with more than 6,000 owners and tenants combined, only I was quarantined because of the difference in day. I don't know if I'm too lucky, or if this neighborhood is too special? I could feel that everyone around me was quite united.

If nothing else, although the dishes of their regimental regiments are higher than the usual price, everyone can accept this special period.

After volunteering, I felt that the relationship with this community and this building was suddenly closer, and almost everyone knew a truth: you can't always accept and don't give. The leader of the regiment in the building came to buy vegetables, a bunch of neighbors will come to help, will not say that you think you have made money, let you get it, as if you think that the leader of the regiment should serve everyone.

To be honest, I've also heard about some not-so-good situations elsewhere on the Internet, as if the situation in Shanghai is divided into many parts, and I'm still very thankful and grateful that I just happened to be stuck in a warm place.

In special periods, behind closed doors, the mood and mentality of each family, each individual's mood and mentality, may be different, but in the same city, everyone is for life.
