In fact, about 1% of the people in the population are born with dark personalities, but the vast majority of such people have no chance of doing evil in their lives.
However, no one wants to be associated with the Dark Personality, or at least we should know who is the Dark Personality.
Recently, a survey published in the psychology journal Personality revealed 7 characteristics of the "dark personality" around us.
Psychologists surveyed 3,000 subjects and followed them over time to find that people who eventually committed antisocial behavior have these typical traits in their daily lives.
(1) Callousness – little concern for the feelings or problems of others, lack of empathy and compassion. Of course, they may disguise themselves as enthusiastic people, but in essence you can still feel the cold blood in their bones.
(2) Hostility - It is easy to recur feelings of anger and irritability, especially slight contempt and insult to others, and it is easy to overreact.
(3) Manipulativeness - psychologically complex and cunning in behavior. Likes to influence, control, or attract others, is a veritable "manipulation" enthusiast.
(4) Deception - dishonesty, glorifying deception or committing fraud, when a person does not have the bottom line of integrity, then other bottom lines will gradually be lost.
(5) Seeking attention – often doing behaviors that are "designed to make yourself the focus of attention and/or admiration of others."
(6) Arrogance - believing that you are superior to others (self-centered) and believing that you deserve special treatment.
(7) Paranoia - excessive sensitivity to interpersonal malice or harm. It is easy to have delusions of persecution and take the initiative to "fight back".
If a person has one or two of the above 7 characteristics, it is still relatively normal, if there are many kinds, then it has a high probability of being the owner of the dark personality, for such a person, we should take precautions in time, do not let the other party have the space to "play".
