Changan Automobile's high-end product sequence UNI-T's main sales model UNI-T had 3,043 units in March, down 53.03% year-on-year and 11.98% month-on-month; the total number of insured vehicles in the first quarter was 15,485 units, down 41.4% year-on-year. Compared with the CS75 series with slightly lower positioning under the same brand, the number of insured vehicles in March was 14,010 units, an increase of 15.5% month-on-month. This means that the CS75 series diverts some of the sales of UNI-T, and consumers are more willing to buy Changan models with lower prices.
As the first model in the UNI sequence, the current UNI-T is priced in the range of 115,900 to 149,900 yuan. First introduced in 2020, the car has stabilized its average monthly sales of more than 10,000 units in the six months of its outstanding appearance. In the first quarter of this year, UNI Sequence launched the first hybrid model UNI-K iDD and the new sedan UNI-V, which did not exceed the volume of UNI-T that year.
In the middle of this month, Changan Automobile said it would launch the UNI-T remodeled model this year. According to previous news, Changan Automobile will also launch a UNI-T hybrid version of the model. The online car market learned from Changan Automobile dealers that the current UNI-T has a cash discount of about 3,000-6,000 yuan at the terminal, and there is room for further price reduction after arriving at the store, with a starting price of about 110,000 yuan.
