The talus mouth is a talus developmental variation, which is often misdiagnosed as bone hyperplasia and tumor. It can cause a series of clinical symptoms: unexplained ankle "soreness", walking and standing often have ankle soreness, and it is the main symptom for a long time.
Main signs: mild swelling and tenderness of the soft tissues of the ankle, slightly limited ankle dorsal and plantar flexion movements, and worsening of symptoms. It can be treated with orthopedic surgery and has a normal bony structure after resection.
X-ray signs have certain characteristics:
1. The entire talus is "bird's head" shape.
2, the bone neck is short or even disappear.
3. The "bird's head" has a triangular protruding forward "bird's beak" and has a normal bone structure.
4. The contact surface between the bone and the scaphoid bone joint becomes smaller and curved.
