On the first day of the first lunar month in 1080 AD, the sky was full of snow and wind. At the moment, people are immersed in the joy of the New Year. On the official road from Kaifeng in the capital to Huangzhou, an old man and a young man, escorted by several soldiers, struggled to move their feet in the ice and snow. The soldiers escorted Su Shi, the most talented scholar of the Northern Song Dynasty, and his eldest son Su Mai.

What crime did Su Shi commit, and what great trouble would he suffer? This is the famous "Wutai Poetry Case" in history. The "Wutai poetry case", in a word, is "there is no excuse for wanting to add to the sin." The Officials of the Imperial History Terrace impeached Su Shi in the "Huzhou Xie Shang Table" and made a big fuss and attacked the imperial court. They found Su Shi's poetry collection, wrote deeply about Zhou Na, and accused Su Shi of ridiculing the government and committing the crime of deceiving the king. Song Shenzong, who was angry, gave instructions: "Yushitai selects a member of the courtiers and pursues them on a stagecoach." The messenger who came to arrest Su Shi was murderous and went straight into the prefecture, tied up Su Shi, and took him to the capital for trial. After entering Beijing, Su Shi was immediately thrown into Yushitai Prison. After more than a hundred days of interrogation and "purgatory", the "Wutai Shi Case" made a final judgment: Su Shi was responsible for appointing Wailang Chong, a member of the Shangshu Shui Department of the Inspection School, to be the deputy envoy of the Huangzhou Regiment, and the state was resettled and could not sign a letter. Ordered The Imperial Observatory to send people to be transferred to go...

After the "Wutai Poetry Case", Su Shi, who was forty-five years old at the time, embarked on the road to Huangzhou's debasement as a sinner. The future is uncertain, Su Shi does not know what fate awaits him?

When he first arrived in Huangzhou, Su Shi's mood was very miserable. After all, he had just experienced a life-and-death disaster. Su Shi reflected on himself and felt that his biggest problem before was that his talent was exposed and he lacked self-knowledge. Therefore, when he first arrived in Huangzhou, Su Shi lived in simplicity and was cautious in his words and deeds. In a letter to his friend Li Duanshu, Su Shi once revealed his heart: "Since I was offended, I have been deeply isolated. Flat boats and grass shoes, wandering mountains and rivers, and miscellaneous places with trees and fisheries, are often scolded by intoxicated people, and they are gradually unconscious... "As we all know, Su Shi is emotional, good friends, friends all over the world, almost every day is full of high friends, singing and rewarding, and the world is also proud of making friends with Su Shi." Who would have thought that after a senseless disaster, Su Shi would end up in the state of "living with relatives and friends, not a word is seen, and there are books with which there are no answers". From the "full seats of high friends" in the past to the current "fear of avoiding it", this strong gap is enough to let people see through the cold of the world and the cold and warm of human feelings. How could Su Shi be indifferent? In the letter, Su Shi also wrote: "Who lives in the house without incident, observes himself silently, and looks back at what he has done in the past thirty years, and there are many sick people." What I see under my feet is me, not me now. Is it not to hear its voice and not to examine its feelings, to take its glory and leave it behind? Or will it be taken from this again?" At this time, Su Shi had completely "cleared" himself, and everything before was put down and everything began again. Even such a private letter to a friend, Su Shi was cautious and cautious. At the end of the day, do not forget to give a special instruction: "This letter will be burned after reading." This shows that even though he has arrived in Huangzhou, Su Shi still has palpitations. The depth of the pain, this shows!

After experiencing the "Wutai Poetry Case", Su Shi's spirit has been in a state of "undetermined". He lived in a dusty hut that the abbot of DinghuiYuan had lent him to him. But after all, literati are literati, and where are the literati who don't speak? Ning Ming died, not silently. There is no panic in the mood. So, late at night, when waking up from a dream, in the bone-chilling coldness, in the boundless loneliness, Su Shi wrote the famous poem "Bu Suanzi": "The lack of moon hangs on the tree, and the first silence of the person is missed." Whoever sees the ghost alone, ethereal and lonely. Startled but turned back, there is hatred and no one to save. Picking all the cold branches refuses to perch, and the lonely sandbar is cold. "Using the metaphor of loneliness, he expresses his lonely inner world." The sentence "Pick up" shows Su Shi's noble character of not willing to follow the vulgarity. Huang Tingjian, Su Shi's high-footed and good friend, commented on the realm of this poem: "The semantic meaning is high, it seems to be non-pyrotechnic and cannibal language, there are thousands of books in the chest, and there is no dust and tacky under the pen, who can go so far!" Huang Tingjian's evaluation was correct. However, how did this high- and free-spirited realm arise?

There are many things in life that are easy to say and difficult to do. Laughing at the bumps, it is difficult for ordinary people to do it. Su Shi is a person who is easy to be sentimental, but at the same time a person who is good at finding happiness. When the tragedy of personal fate came again and again, Su Shi used small and specific happiness to transform pain, even into invisibility, and finally achieve "no worries in every case of suffering". From the Song Dynasty to today, there are many Chinese who will meet Su Shi in different life situations, and they will see themselves from Su Shi and find themselves. Su Shi's influence on Chinese soul was both wide and deep. In fact, not only Chinese like Su Shi, but foreigners also like Su Shi. The French newspaper Le Monde has selected "millennium heroes" around the world, involving politics, military, culture, religion and other fields, a total of twelve were selected, and Su Shi was the only Chinese selected. It shows that Su Shi's influence is great and his charm is great.

The turning point of Su Shi's life began in Huangzhou. In 1081 AD, Su Shi, who degraded Huangzhou, began his "peasant career". A fan named Ma Mengde came from a long distance to follow Su Shi, and after witnessing Su Shi's dilemma, he took the initiative to find Xu Junyou, the Taishou of Huangzhou, and asked if he could give some land for Su Shi to cultivate to solve the problem of eating. Xu Junyou happily agreed, and gave Su Shi an abandoned military camp land in Huangzhou City to cultivate free of charge. This was originally an unnamed highland, because it was located in the east of the city, Su Shi named it "Dongpo", and gave himself a name - "Dongpo Resident". Since then, Su Shi has become Su Dongpo. From "Su Shi" to "Su Dongpo", Su Shi has taken a tortuous, long and bumpy road of life, and experienced one spiritual transformation after another that ordinary people cannot bear. Among them, sweet and bitter, such as people drinking cold and warm self-knowledge.

In Huangzhou, Su Shi finally stepped out of the shadow of the "Wutai Poetry Case" and gradually became a "Po Xian". 1082 AD, a year full of miracles in the history of Chinese literature. This year was the "golden period" of Su Shi's literary and artistic creation, and almost all of the most important masterpieces of his life were completed here in Huangzhou. Literaryly, Su Dongpo wrote masterpieces that have been passed down through the ages- "Nian Nu Jiao Chibi Huaigu" and "Chibi Fu"; artistically, he wrote the "Cold Food Post", which is known as the "Third Book of the World", and drew the "Dead Wood Strange Stone Map" that led the Chinese literati to paint. In this year, Su Shi transformed the loneliness and sorrow in his life into art; in this year, Su Shi turned into a butterfly and was reborn from the fire; in this year, Su Shi reached the "peak period" in literature and art.

Su Shi himself probably would not have imagined that Huangzhou, which was far away from the sky, would become a turning point in his life. "Literature is radiant by the earth, and the land is enhanced by people." Huangzhou, witnessing Su Shi's suffering; Huangzhou, remembering Su Shi's butterfly changes. Without Huangzhou, Su Shi's art lacks a realm; without Huangzhou, Su Shi's personality cannot be detached; without Huangzhou, Su Shi may not be able to become Su Dongpo. Huangzhou, for Su Shi's significance, is extraordinary, it has long ceased to be a geographical term, but a spiritual concept. Su Shi and Huang Zhou, they have achieved each other. For Su Shi, Huangzhou was no longer a miserable place of exile. For Huangzhou, Su Shi was no longer just an insignificant heaven and earth passerby.

Four years have passed. Just when Su Shi had already regarded Huangzhou as his hometown ("This peace of mind is my hometown") and was preparing to grow up and defend it, his fate once again took a turn. In the first month of 1084, Su Shi received an edict. The imperial court ordered him to be transferred to Ruzhou (汝州, in modern Linru, Henan) as a deputy envoy. Although the official position is still the original official position, Ruzhou and Huangzhou are very different. Huangzhou was a remote place, while Ruzhou was adjacent to Beijing and close to the imperial court. The news of Su Shi's transfer from Huangzhou quickly spread, and people brought wine to each other. There was an endless stream of people who came to say goodbye, and the table after table of the feast was in stark contrast to his "relatives and friends in his life, not a word was seen, and there were books and no answers" when he first came to Huangzhou.

Su Shi reluctantly left Huangzhou and never returned. Huangzhou was the starting point of Su Shi's degrading career, and whenever he was frustrated, trapped, or besieged and persecuted by political enemies, he would involuntarily think of Huangzhou, remembering the days when he wrapped his head in a scarf on the eastern slope, ploughed the fields, and mixed with the fishing... Reflect on yourself and regain your self-confidence. Huangzhou became an inexhaustible source of thought and spiritual treasure house for Su Shi throughout his life.

Three months before his death, Su Shi passed through the Golden Mountain Temple, improvised a poem, and summed up his life: "The heart is like a ashes, and the body is like a boat that is not tied." Ask Ru Pingsheng Gongye, Huangzhou Huizhou Danzhou. Until the last moment of his life, Su Shi was still obsessed with Huangzhou.
