In February of the same year, another collection called "Aoyama Tsuyoshi Short Stories" was also published, which contained eight short stories from Aoyama's early manga.
Two years later, due to the popularity of "Detective Conan", the elementary school hall took a fancy to this short story collection by Tsuyoshi Aoyama and selected 6 short stories from it to be OVATTED.

The anime consists of two episodes, each containing three original manga short stories.

However, in fact, except for the second story in the first episode of the "Short Story Collection", "The Wandering Red Butterfly", which is about conan's parents dating when they were young, the other chapters have nothing to do with "Conan".
Therefore, when watching "Short Story Collection", everyone just needs to think of it as an independent story.
The first story, "Wait for Me," plays a little new tricks with a cheesy time machine setting.
The male protagonist is a 15-year-old genius inventor, and the female protagonist who is two years older than himself is a green plum bamboo horse.
All along, the male protagonist has a knot in the age difference of these two years, and has been repeatedly hijacked by the little that the little devil of the first year of high school actually dares to bubble the woman of the third year of high school.

In my opinion, these works of Aoyama are quite interesting, and the narrative ability and character portrayal ability shown in "Short Story Collection" are not necessarily worse than "Conan".
