The minimum fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is 6.8L! Changan Automobile's second-generation CS75PLUS shows the real power of fuel saving

A few days ago, a unique fuel-saving challenge was staged in Chongqing, and the two sides of the battle were the second-generation CS75PLUS of Changan Automobile, which was driven by people, and the same model controlled by an autonomous driving robot. After a fierce competition, the vehicle driven by people finally became the winner of this "man-machine duel" with the performance of the lowest fuel consumption of 6.8L per 100 kilometers. Of course, the second-generation CS75PLUS, which demonstrated excellent fuel-saving performance through the competition, was the biggest winner of this event.

Upstream journalists witnessed the whole process of this fuel-saving challenge by watching the live broadcast. The competition adopts the method of "real-time PK of human fuel consumption", on the one hand, the players composed of media and user representatives drive 9 second-generation CS75PLUS from the main city of Chongqing, drive to the Qijiang Gujian Mountain Scenic Area, and then turn back on the same road; on the other hand, a second-generation CS75PLUS controlled by an autonomous driving robot, driving in situ at the indoor roller test field of Changan Automobile. In order to ensure the objectivity and fairness of the results of the competition, the organizers of the event also used technical equipment such as chassis dynamometers and wind tunnels to simulate the real road conditions and wind resistance coefficients in the outdoor environment at the indoor test site, so that the driving conditions of both sides of the competition were basically the same.

As the last car reached the finish line, nine human-driven second-generation CS75PLUS completed the 170-kilometer challenge. In the meantime, the vehicle has passed through the common road conditions of daily driving such as cities, highways, and mountains, and encountered road congestion in the evening peak. Finally, after actual measurement, car No. 9 won the "fuel saving king" of this competition with a fuel consumption of 6.8L per 100 kilometers, and the second and third runners achieved a fuel consumption of 6.9L per 100 kilometers; and the robot runners who ran the same distance in the simulation environment handed over a report card of 7.0L fuel consumption per 100 kilometers. Even for the lowest-achieving runners, fuel consumption per 100 km is controlled below 10L, which shows the excellent fuel economy of the second-generation CS75PLUS.

At the event site, according to the technical experts of Changan Automobile, the second-generation CS75PLUS has excellent fuel economy, mainly due to the fact that it is equipped with the golden power combination of "Blue Whale Engine + Aisin 8AT" as standard. Among them, Blue Whale's new generation NE1.5T engine adopts the "double outlet integrated exhaust manifold + double scroll tube electronically controlled turbocharging" technology scheme only available in the joint venture brand first-class model engine, as well as a series of leading technologies such as Schaeffler intelligent cam phase modulation system, external high-efficiency water-cooled intercooling system, agile combustion system, etc., which greatly improves the engine operation efficiency, provides strong power at the same time, and significantly reduces fuel consumption. Through this challenge, the second generation of CS75PLUS showed its own energy-saving advantages, in the current high oil prices, I believe it will win the favor of more users.
