Activision Blizzard's recent SEC filing suggests that Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2 could go on sale in 2023.
Blizzard recently predicted that they would have huge revenue growth in 2023. The chart below compares Blizzard's actual revenue in 2021 with its expected revenue from 2022-2024, and we can see that 2023 has a huge revenue increase compared to 2022, rising from $2 billion to $3.75 billion, an increase of 90%, strongly suggesting that Blizzard will launch at least one blockbuster in 2023.
In November 2021, Blizzard announced the postponement of Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2, while also hinting that both games could be released in 2023.
At the time, Blizzard said: "Although we will still have a lot of content released next year (2022), we now plan to have Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4 released later than originally planned. ”
