A developer who has been at Ubisoft for nearly 20 years has been involved in Dog 2 and Far Cry 3.

Ubisoft veteran developer Patrick Plourde, who served as creative director for Children of Light, Watch Dogs 2 and Far Cry 3, announced his departure from Ubisoft after nearly 20 years on the job. He said he plans to continue working with Ubisoft outside of the traditional corporate structure as part of an independent consultancy.

Since joining Ubisoft, Plourde has been involved in many of Ubisoft's game projects. For example, he worked as a game designer and level designer in the Assassin's Creed series, and later as creative director of Far Cry 3. After finishing work on Children of Light and Watch Dogs 2, Plourde worked as an editor at Ubisoft until he left the company.
