According to the data, a total of 7 cars sold more than 10,000 vehicles in March this year, five more models than last month. Hongguang MINI topped the new energy sedan sales with sales of 41,980 units, up 42.7% year-on-year, also higher than last month's sales of 26,116 units.
The Tesla Model 3 ranked second, with retail sales reaching 26,024 units in March, up 2.8 percent year-on-year. Tesla reports sales data at the end of each quarter, so sales usher in an "outbreak". The third and fourth models are from BYD, of which BYD Qin sold 24,791 vehicles, up 480.3% year-on-year; BYD Han sold 12,337 vehicles, ranking fourth, an increase of 19.5% year-on-year. Xiaopeng P7 sales reached a new high, reaching 9,183 units in March, ranking eighth. Chery eQ Small Ant also performed well, with retail sales reaching 8,150 units in March, ahead of major competitor Euler Black Cat. Euler Black Cat retail sales of 6612 vehicles, ranking eleventh.
