Judging from the video from the Giga Fest scene, the overall change of the Cybertruck production version is not large, with the addition of traditional optical rearview mirrors and a very abrupt and obvious oversized wiper, while changing the wheel design. The installation of rearview mirrors is mainly to meet regulatory requirements, and the concept version of the model released in 2019 claims to use in-car electronic streaming mirrors, but in view of the traffic regulations of some states and other countries in the United States, Tesla eventually had to install traditional rearview mirrors for it. The oversized wiper design does a bit ruin the cool design atmosphere of the original concept car, which is very incongruous, but it is understandable considering the necessity.
In terms of interior, the new car looks very rough, and Tesla is only ready for a production appearance. According to the live video, the real car will be determined to use the special-shaped steering wheel promised at the beginning of the release, while equipped with Tesla's signature oversized central control screen, and a consistent minimalist interior design style. However, the huge hole in the middle of the steering wheel is a bit confusing, I don't know whether it is a deliberate alternative design, or other advanced technologies hidden in it that are inconvenient to display, in short, the interior looks very simple overall, if it is not a super-sized central control screen, it is difficult to associate it with expensive high-performance electric pickups.
Despite the minimal interior of the production model, Musk said that the previously promised 4680 battery, CTC technology, all-wheel steering, height-adjustable suspension, solar cargo lid and other technologies that can minimize battery costs will be applied, while the most concerned FSD system will not be loaded for the time being. With the new battery solution, Cybertruck will initially offer a choice of single motor, dual motor, and triple motor versions, and will launch a four-motor version in the future. At present, the top three-motor four-wheel drive version has an acceleration time of less than 2.9 km/h, a cruising range of more than 804 km, and a traction force of about 6.4 tons.
