Hello duck everyone~

Today, the "NO.11 lab" brought by the floating cannon, this issue contains 4 interesting studies on diet:

Cook too fast, be careful of this disease!

Drinking green tea can help with weight loss

Meat full of "lust"?

Does drinking milk or soy milk cause breast cancer?

Rice people dry rice soul! About the matter of eating, we can not but understand, let's take a look at it together!

I don't know if everyone is the same as the floating cannon, busy in the morning, it is hard to wait until the noon break, will quickly open the next meal drama, happily eat a meal, feel that this is the most relaxed and precious period of time in the work time!

However, while eating happily, don't forget to chew slowly!

A 2019 study published in the journal Nature found that cooking too quickly increases the risk of diabetes!

The study surveyed the eating habits of 197825 people without diabetes across Japan in 2008, including eating fast, snacking after dinner, snacking before going to bed at night, and skipping breakfast, and counted their health from 2009 to 2011.

It was found that eating faster significantly increased the risk of diabetes. From 2009 to 2011, the proportion of people with rapid eating habits was 30.9%, while the proportion of people without rapid eating habits was 26.1%, a difference of 4.8%.

The effects of fast eating are most pronounced compared to eating snacks after dinner, snacking before going to bed at night, and skipping breakfast. Therefore, researchers believe that in the eating habit, rapid eating is the most important risk factor for new diabetes.

Therefore, friends, cooking is a happy thing, we must learn to enjoy slowly, do not gobble up Oh ~ ~ ~

The floating cannon that has struggled for many years on the road to weight loss found that the most difficult "level" is to quit those sweet cakes, milk tea, sweet drinks

In countless sleepy afternoons, I have tried my best to restrain my small hands that want to order milk tea... Until later, after listening to the recommendation of my father and mother, I began to try to drink green tea, which was really out of control! Delicious and healthy ~

Recently, another study was found that drinking green tea can not only help people quit "milk tea addiction" and lose weight, it can also directly play a role in weight loss!

Such a magical green tea study, of course, is done by our Chinese scientists ~ researchers included 25 high-quality studies (clinical trials, non-animal experiments, sufficient data evidence) and conducted a meta-analysis.

The results found that 22 of these studies showed that subjects lost significant weight after taking green tea, with an average decrease of 1.78 kg per week. Especially in people with a BMI of ≥30, the weight loss was more pronounced, with a decrease of 2.53 kg per week.

In terms of body mass index (BMI), the BMI decreased by 0.65 after the subjects took green tea. In people with a BMI of ≥30, the BMI decline was more pronounced, at a decrease of 0.89.

And the intervention time of more than 12 weeks of people, the weight loss effect is better, from this point of view, drinking green tea is a long-term way to lose weight ~

It seems that I was successful in losing weight, not only because I quit milk tea, but also because of the "silent pay" duck of green tea!

Meat full of "lust"

As the saying goes, "Warm and full of lust", people will think more about the richness of the spiritual world when their material needs are satisfied. In fact, not only people, but also animals.

A recent study published in Nature not only confirmed the "fullness of food and lust", but also discovered the magic mechanism:

Eating protein-rich foods will stimulate neuropeptide hormones in the intestine and promote the "courtship behavior" of animals, which can be described as "meat full of lust"!

This interesting study was conducted in fruit flies. The researchers divided the male fruit flies into two groups, one group was "full of wine and food", and the other group was hungry for 24 hours.

At the same time, they are provided with food (protein-rich yeast) and female fruit flies, and the male fruit flies who are "full of wine and food" go straight to the female fruit flies, while the hungry male fruit flies have no "love" in their eyes and are only responsible for concentrating on "dry food".

In addition, the researchers also found that if the food is not fed protein-rich food but sucrose, the male fruit fly is still "high cold", and will not run happily to court the female, preferring to comb and comb the hair by himself and quietly think about "life".

This is because consuming protein- or amino-acid-rich foods stimulates the secretion of the neuropeptide hormone in the intestine, diuretic hormone 31 (Dh31).

When the level of Dh31 in the blood is elevated, it stimulates neurons in the brain, on the one hand, inhibiting eating behavior through the allatostatin-C pathway, and promoting courtship behavior through the corazonin pathway, and these two aspects interact to successfully change the flies from "dry eaters" to "lick dogs".

It seems that meat is not only delicious and nutritious, but also has other "wonderful uses"

I don't know if the sisters have heard that drinking soy milk and milk may have an impact on breast health.

Anyway, angry air buns like me, especially pay attention to breast health, so in the face of soy milk and milk have been cowering, with tea instead.

I just happened to see the relevant research recently, so let's share it with you

The study, published in the International Journal of Epidemiology in 2020, found that consuming more dairy products increased the risk of breast cancer, while soy milk did not.

The study involved 52,795 North American women with an average age of 57 years, followed up on a questionnaire for 7.9 years and found 1,057 new breast cancer patients.

After statistics, it was found that higher dairy calorie intake and more dairy intake in the diet increased the risk of breast cancer, of which the difference between whole milk and skim milk was not much. Moreover, this result is similar in premenopausal and postmenopausal populations.

Cup size is 8 ounces (about 237ml) ▲ Image source: References[4]

The intake of soy milk has no significant effect on the risk of breast cancer, and when soy milk is used instead of the same amount of milk, the risk of breast cancer is significantly reduced.

The researchers found that dairy products may be responsible for the increased risk of breast cancer due to the effects of bovine sex hormones (several estrogens and progesterone secreted by cows during lactation), as well as the serum IGF-1 hormone, a proliferative hormone.

The beneficial effects of soy milk may be the effect of soy isoflavones. Soy isoflavones are structurally similar to the estrogen 17-β-estradiol and can function as weak estrogens.

In addition, isoflavones may also have antiproliferative effects and antioxidant activity, and enhance the DNA repair system.

Finally, we still have to tell everyone that we don't have to be too afraid of milk, after all, many factors such as living habits and living environment will affect the chance of breast cancer.

To share the significance of this study with the sisters, I want to say that if you do not like to drink milk in the first place, or have symptoms of lactose intolerance, there is no need to force yourself to drink for the gimmick of milk health, after all, if you want to supplement calcium and protein, you can choose other food sources.

For example, calcium supplementation can eat some green leafy vegetables, soy products, or supplements. If you supplement protein, you can eat meat and eggs in moderation.

Today's "NO.11 lab" of the "Foodie" feature ends here, I wish everyone a happy eating and drinking health

What type of research do you still want to see, welcome to leave a message to tell us, floating cannon is looking forward to everyone's reply! If you think the content is not bad, welcome to forward or like! Thank you all for your encouragement!

I love the world.
