Hainan network literature writer Li Huayan's experience in creating a non-genetic love novel "Love Ingenuity" has made useful attempts in "small sweet text" and "big themes".
Nine years ago, Ewha Yan had just graduated from college. Her first official job was as a choreographer and reporter for a tv station's current affairs section. Before that, she already had a small writing world of her own.

In 2005, Ewha Yan, who has loved to read books since she was a child and has a dream of being a writer, began to try to write some short stories. This attempt ended in failure. "Children who grew up in small places had no conditions, they were very young at that time, and they had schoolwork, so they gave up." However, if you never forget it, there will be an echo. Inadvertently learning about literary sites, she started reading novels on them, and by 2010, when she was a freshman in college, she couldn't resist writing on her own.
Influenced by the history major in college, Ewha Yan originally wrote about the ancient theme of empty romance. Unintentionally lined with willows, her writing style is light and humorous, and "Hair Wife Is Not Good" that tells the love story of Shangjia Family has been loved by many readers. She gained a group of readers by mistake, and the creative model that immediately got feedback from readers also made her feel very happy, and she could also earn tuition. This time, she persevered.
Non-hereditary heir in a dangerous house
Love slowly became love, and the perspective of observation and writing has always accompanied her every stage of life.
As a reporter, Ewha Yan interviewed a non-hereditary heir of Li Jin. The inheritor had just returned from an exchange abroad as a representative, and was in his seventies at the time. She lived in a very remote township, and when she arrived at her house, Li Huayan saw that the house where the inheritor lived was a tile house made of stone, only ten square meters, the eaves were very low, and the doors and windows were made of wood, which could already be regarded as a dangerous house.
Her heart "clucked" a little. As a craftsman who can go abroad with national traditional skills, his living conditions are so poor. The strong contrast between glory and reality touched her. "Since then, I've thought about writing a book that reflects the plight of non-genetic heirs. See if you can use the advantages of literary works and the spread of online literature to awaken more people's attention to this group. Even later, because of the choice of life and the change of role of mother, Ewha Yan left the press post, this idea has always haunted her.

In 2017, Ewha Yan began to conceive. "Non-genetic inheritance" is a very professional field, outsiders write about internal affairs, it is too easy to "draw tigers and paint skins and draw bones". In order for the content of the work to be professional enough, the writer must put a lot of effort into it. "I have always felt that literary creation cannot be fake, and how much thought we have spent on the content will eventually be presented on the volume." In the early stages of writing, Pear Blossom Yan searched and read hundreds of papers. She also used her professionalism as a journalist to interview non-hereditary heirs in many different fields through various channels.

Detailed and rich materials have gradually given her the confidence to write this book. At the end of 2018, Li Huayan began to write. In the long accumulation, she selected six types of intangible cultural heritage crafts such as mineral pigments, xiangyun yarn, Li Jin, engraving, weaving and rice paper, identified six main characters, representing the old, middle and young generations of non-genetic heirs, and began to tell a passionate and romantic story about non-genetic inheritance. She decided to name the book "Love ingenuity" (formerly known as "Ingenuity Alone You", which was selected as a key work support project of the Network Literature Center of the China Writers Association in 2019).

Li Huayan is a master at writing sweet texts, and often reads and reads to make people "old face powder" and "heartbeat poof". "Love Ingenuity" is no exception. The inheritor of mineral pigments, Su Indigo, is a Proud Sun Capricorn woman, and the inheritor of Xiangyun Yarn Technique, Lu Feixun, is a high-cold Scorpion man. But it is not so "Sue". After all, they are non-genetic heirs with full of skills and difficulties, how can falling in love be so simple? Su Indigo's father accidentally damaged the ancient painting "Dongjiang Hill And Valley Map" in a private exhibition, and Su Indigo saved his father's heart and should be given a restoration task. Repairing the damaged scrolls was a technical difficulty, so she sought help from Lu Fei, the young master of the Century-old Shunde Hall who was famous for her xiangyun yarn. Su Indigo used all his strength to finally impress Lu Feixun with his professionalism and dedication to intangible cultural heritage, and the two worked together to overcome technical difficulties and successfully restored the ancient paintings. Su Indigo's cuteness and occasional little badness were also quietly hitting Lu Feixun's heart.
If the story stops there, then as far as ordinary sweet texts are concerned, it may be just changing soup without changing medicine, changing careers and falling in love. Ewha Yan has not forgotten her original intention, and has greater ambitions in the excavation of the core of the story. "Love ingenuity" lays the groundwork and development of Su Indigo and Lu Fei's search for the first sight, misunderstanding, and restoration of the painting, writing a total of 8 chapters, with a degree of tension and a degree, the content is done very well, and then naturally transitions to the variety show "Retaining Craftsmanship". "Keeping the Craft" is the climax of the whole novel. The content of the show from concentration to slow extension is about 8-10 chapters, the background information is detailed, the other inheritors added are vivid, and the tension between contradictions and conflicts is sufficient. The plight and expectations of the three generations of non-hereditary inheritors of the old, middle and young generations, persistence and watchfulness, inheritance and innovation, are vividly displayed through the program recording and challenge activities in the story.
In the early interview, a non-hereditary heir once said to Li Huayan: "Now the most difficult thing to inherit is that there are no raw materials and inheritors, and young people are not willing to learn." I hope to speak more at universities now and let more people know about this thing. She also did a survey interview in Shunde, Guangdong, the birthplace of Xiangyun Yarn, listing issues such as "Are you willing to let your children learn to make Xiangyun Yarn", "How much money can Xiangyun yarn workers get in a month", "Why local young people are not willing to learn this craft", etc., got solid data feedback, and heard the voices of many locals. She sorted out and created such core problems and possible solutions, and integrated them into the plot, and the content was solid.
The emotional line of the male and female protagonists is interspersed in the program recording process, and the sense of practice of fighting side by side is very strong, and the sublimation of feelings is more natural. "The protagonist is not a love brain, and the story does not have a boring setting for sweet and sweet, but more of two people who appreciate each other and witness the most beautiful side of each other." "The biggest problem with the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage skills is not the indifference of the outside world, but the inability to adhere to the inheritance." Ewha Yan sharply raises this point almost at the beginning of the story. In her view, only by adhering to a "ingenuity" can we inherit a craft.
The whole story presents the persistence of non-hereditary inheritors in different fields, and together constitutes a group portrait of the "ingenuity" of Chinese non-hereditary inheritors. From the personal point of view, it is the insistence on one's own ingenuity, from the perspective of "home" it is the blood inheritance of the family's intangible cultural heritage skills, and from the perspective of "country", it is the adherence and promotion of traditional Chinese culture.
It took 3 years to write such a story, and Ewha Yan also practiced her own "ingenuity" insistence on writing.
When the first book was published, she was not yet 20 years old. Later, when the competition became fierce, she wanted to cherish the opportunity even more, hoping that the works on the market would be valuable, so that readers would have additional gains in addition to relaxing reading. In the road of creation in these years, Li Huayan has walked very hard, online literature has developed rapidly, and long-term output is easy to go to the dilemma of homogenization, loose deconstruction, and weak readability. She does not want to repeat herself, but also hopes to polish herself by changing the theme, changing the genre, changing the writing method, sublimating the core, and even learning the screenwriter's creation in order to control the story more three-dimensionally. She also often discussed creative issues with the author's friends about "how to make the contradiction advanced" and "how to attribute the conflict of the event itself to human nature itself", and gained new thinking. "The greatest significance of this book to me is that it carries some new understandings and attempts of literary creation over the years, and is an answer sheet handed to the reader."
When writing "Love Ingenuity", encountering a bottleneck period, there is a plot point stuck, the character is set at the beginning of the setting is a forward rather than a reverse, parallel lines to find a flashpoint, so that the character behavior turned, need to take into account the human design and logic, but also to see the needle to buckle the problem, very difficult. In order to open up this point and avoid outside interference, she locked herself in the house of her hometown, locked her up for a whole month, ordered takeaway, wrote after eating, slept after writing, and concentrated on creating. Fortunately, the family understands her, and the lover will also take on more responsibilities for taking care of the children at such a special stage and give silent support.

Personally, her favorite part is the last half, including Lu Feixun's handling of the fake trademark incident, the black workshop incident, and the recruitment of a group of disabled people into the enterprise, which are all very intense. But looking at the overall situation, it seems too dense. In the front part of enriching nature, Ewha Yan can still maintain a relatively good rhythm, but after writing the restoration of "Dongjiang Hills and Valleys", her family had a serious car accident, she had to put down writing, ran between the hospital and the law enforcement department, spent a lot of time and energy on rights protection, to a certain extent disrupted the rhythm of writing. "I know bitterly that it is an imperfect book, and it is precisely because of this regret and imperfection that I take the next book more seriously and hope that it can be done better."

In the face of others' doubts or criticisms, Ewha is serious and frank, and the gentle and firm energy of the heroine also emerges from her. In life, she is not competitive, wearing a lace gauze skirt to carry a hoe to the beach to dig snails, seeing a delicious second "there is light in the eyes", hearing a playful "giggle" laugh non-stop, wearing pajamas to take the baby to the vegetable market, guests come to the sister's vegetable field to "steal vegetables"... Never drop the chain when she works, and she is so relaxed and happy in life, and she lives out the essence of life inside life, which is really enviable.

Although she is now writing full-time, she will never forget her time as a journalist. "Now let me be a journalist, I'll still go, I like it." Once I went to the field to interview a farmer who planted pumpkins, and after the interview he gave me a bouquet of pumpkin flowers, which were 99 roses in size. When I got home, I asked my mother to stir-fry a dish..."

Everyone's life is complex, with many difficulties, and social problems that rise to a larger level are more likely to cause anxiety. Serious thinking and solemn face are certainly a way to solve problems, but she prefers to write light and humorous love essays, bringing some positive energy to everyone through words, and at the same time feeling sweet, joyful and courageous. After the seemingly light and witty brushstrokes, there is both the integration of her personal character and life attitude, as well as thoughtfulness. "If you adjust the overall story tone to be more happy, diluting some of the heaviness of the dilemma, the story is more acceptable to young readers."

Li Huayan admitted that the income of realistic theme works in the online text market is indeed not so fast, but after several years of grinding, she deeply feels that the satisfaction of fine writing gives individuals a stronger sense of satisfaction, which is probably the reason why so many excellent network writers have begun to transform and write from the side to write more positive energy stories that reflect the country's reform and opening up and carry forward traditional culture.
Today, Li Huayan is already a member of the China Writers Association and the secretary general of the Hainan Provincial Internet Writers Association, and she will stick to the creative path of realistic themes in the future. The next work she is preparing, "Hi, Mr. Ancient Building Restorer", has been selected for the 2021 China Writers Association Network Literature Center Key Works Support Project.
