Wang He warned everyone that asking for a bride price is an outdated and bad habit, which not only violates the principle of freedom of marriage, but also easily leads to family conflicts and social problems. Therefore, the Civil Code clearly stipulates that it is forbidden to solicit property under the pretext of marriage.
