Why do motorcycle OEMs form teams to compete? If you look at the major foreign brands, they will spare no effort to fight for your life in major events, on the one hand, the display of technical strength, and more importantly, the track is also a testing ground for various high-tech technologies, which will have a huge impact on commercial models. For example, the popular wind wing in the past two years is the product of the decentralization of track technology, because the professionalism originates from the track!

In fact, many years ago, domestic brands have begun to cut through thorns in world-class motorcycle competitions, such as Zongshen, a veteran motorcycle company in Chongqing! In 1999, when major domestic motorcycle brands were still fighting in the road car market, Zongshen established China's first professional motorcycle fleet. In 2001, Zongshen won the title of the world's top ten teams, and that year Zongshen team won the World Motorcycle Endurance Championship in Suzuka, Japan, which is the best result achieved by the Chinese motorcycle team in the world motorcycle sport.

In 2002, Zongshen won the annual championship of the World Motorcycle Endurance Championship, the first Chinese championship team born in the world motorcycle sport, and in this year Zongshen officially became the world champion team. Zongshen also learned the experience and technology learned from the track and integrated it well into commercial models. In 2016, the Seclon RC3 was officially unveiled, as the premier sports car model of the domestic brand at that time, it stunned the entire domestic motorcycle market, and even launched a race version of the race model for the track, which was specially provided to track enthusiasts. This car is derived from the model that Zongshen Team has won two world championships, and it can be said that it was a bold attempt in the domestic motorcycle market at that time, and it was also a good demonstration of the application of racing technology to the field of civilian motorcycles.

Coincidentally, in the past two years, the domestic motorcycle market has set off a sports car fever, as the most vocal brand of sports cars among domestic brands, Zong Shen naturally wants to leave a strong ink! In June 2019, Zongshen Seco's new sports car model was first exposed, and just one design sketch captured the expectations of countless Motorcycle friends.

In September 2019, chongqing Motorcycle Expo, SECRON RC401 appeared in front of the public for the first time in the form of a real car, perfectly continuing the appearance of the original design drawing, and making it the most dazzling domestic sports car in the entire Motorcycle Expo. The new style of exterior design and the unusual wind wing also make it stand out among a number of domestic sports cars.

So has the RC401 inherited the technical experience accumulated by Zongshen in the competition over the years? Of course, the Sycoron RC401 has a large aerodynamic design. The understanding of aerodynamics comes from many years of experience in designing racing cars, and only in the track environment will we try to make a car faster by all means, of which aerodynamic design plays a crucial role.

Air power design is also one of the souls of sports cars, ZongShen, who has been immersed in the track for many years, has his own unique insight into aerodynamics! The drag coefficient of the RC401 can be achieved to 0.51Cd, a value close to that of the train, which is enough to prove that the experience learned by Zongshen through the track has been successfully applied to the RC401.

And through the fluid shaping technology, the front wind resistance is reduced by 13%, and the smooth vehicle line ensures that the air flow is close to the body and does not separate, thereby reducing the wind resistance. It also relies on a large number of aerodynamic simulation analysis and optimization to obtain the optimal front face angle and 43° windshield angle.

Relying on the unique HCS stabilization system, we conduct comprehensive R&D testing. In the continuous corners, a roll angle of 7.52 degrees, a heading angle of 0.32 degrees and a pitch angle of 1.61 degrees are achieved. And the data is visualized and combined into the actual control to create the best riding experience.

After a large number of scientific data analysis and applied to the actual design, the RC401 has obtained an inclination angle of 52 degrees, and has undergone a cornering test of 80km/h per hour, if the modification of the track accessories is selected, the inclination angle can be further reached 63 degrees, almost achieving the attitude of "flying on the ground".

Some people say that the Secoron RC401 is not enough to fight, in fact, its riding posture is "salty and sweet", and the design of the split saddle provides two sitting positions! The front cushion is designed to be straight, and the front cushion is wide in the rear direction, leaving a larger room for the rider to adjust, and the rider can freely switch between the two driving postures of a sports car and a street car.

Presumably, many people will think that the pair of "small wings" under the front of the RC401 is just a playful decoration! In fact, this is not only decoration, the specially designed shark fin diversion air hole, with the detailed design of the side-through style grid, strengthens the diversion air flow, reduces the aerodynamic resistance, and can also enhance the heat dissipation performance of the engine.

In fact, there is an aerodynamic design in the rear part of the car, and on both sides of the license plate frame, there is a pair of "tail wings" similar to the flaps of the aircraft, which can form downforce in the rear of the car during driving and improve the stability of the vehicle at high speed.
