Appreciation:

The stylistic development history of the "Eight Strands of Literature" in the sentence "Eight Strands of Article Trial Poems" is complex, and it generally indicates a special style stipulated in the Qing examination system, which is generally considered to be the "Four Books and Five Classics". "Trial poems", also known as "endowment", is a kind of poetry in ancient China, originating in the Tang Dynasty, mostly five words and six rhymes or eight rhymes, often used for the imperial examination. The whole sentence is directly translated into the outdated and backward text of the imperial examination, the Four Books and Five Classics, and the test poem. Here is a metaphor for dogma in the text ZB.

The "Zong Zhu" in the sentence "Zong Zhu Song Sheng has a rule" refers to Zhu Xi's representative work of the Song Dynasty, "Four Books, Chapters and Sentences", which refers to the three dynasties of the Later Song Dynasty that used this as the standard answer for the official textbook and the imperial examination. "Ode to the Saint" generally refers to the praise of the saint, and here refers to the praise of merit. "Established rules" are "ready-made or long-standing rules and methods". The literal translation of the whole sentence is to honor Zhu Xi's "Notes on the Collection of Four Books and Chapters and Sentences" to sing praises and praises to Dejiu. Here is a metaphor for blindly pandering to certain ideas and claims, rigidly studying dogmatic texts.

The "white-headed palace girl" in the sentence "White-headed Palace Girl" comes from Bai Juyi's "Shangyang White-haired Person" of the Tang Dynasty, and at the same time borrows Yuan Shu's poem "Xinggong", referring to the old palace girl of Shangyang Palace, which is a metaphor for the entire intellectual circle, and can also be understood as a metaphor for the author himself. The whole sentence is literally translated as the old palace lady of the Shangyang Palace haha laughed. Another version here is "White-headed Pedantic Selfishness", which alludes to the fact that the old palace lady of the Shangyang Palace is also laughing at those who rigidly study dogmatic texts, or those who laugh at those who rigidly study dogmatic texts.

"Eyebrow samples are now in time again" sentence is derived from the poem of Zhu Qingyu of the Tang Dynasty", "Recently try to go to Zhang Zhishuibu", "Make up and whisper to the husband, the depth of the eyebrows into the time is nothing". The style of the full sentence literally translated as thrush can now be fashionable. Another version here is "Eyebrow-like Year And Time", alluding to the fact that the entire intellectual community discards the original political ideas and instead caters to the rigid study of dogmatic texts with certain ideas.

The whole poem borrows or uses allusions and poems such as "Eight Strands of Literature", "Trial Poems", Bai Juyi's "Shangyang BaifaRen", Zhu Xi's "Notes on the Collection of Chapters and Sentences of the Four Books", and Zhu Qingyu's "Recent Examination of Zhang Zhishuibu" to satirize the text "Zb Theory" in which people in the entire intellectual circles cater to certain ideological propositions and rigidly study the dogma in the political study and the movement to criticize Hu Shi's thought.

Appendix 1: "Old History"

Tired of reading the old history of the predecessors, the island is always confused.

Wei Received Shen about Hugh and complained, and the same people were hanging upside down.

(This poem borrows the history of calling the southern regime "Daoyi" in the "Book of Wei" written by Wei Wei and the "Book of Song" written by Shen Yue calling the northern regime "Suoyu", satirizing each other as "bandits" in the propaganda of the Kuomintang and the Communist Party, as well as the negative effects of mutual insults, slanders, and attacks between fathers and sons, colleagues, teachers, students, and friends in political study and criticism of Hu Shi's ideological movement, and also contains the author's lament for the inheritance and dissemination of China's fine culture.) )

Appendix 2: "Xin Di Guangzhou Dragon Boat Festival"

Calamus is like a sword and green, and mugwort leaves are like flags that do not flash red.

Only Shen Xiang wept bitterly, but the plum rain was the same.

(June 1951.) )

(The poem borrows the special festival of the Dragon Boat Festival, as well as ordinary calamus and Ai ye, to allude to the strengths and weaknesses of each faction; borrows the historical materials of Qu Yuan's scolding of Zilan in "Lamentations", expresses the excellent traditional essence of Chinese intellectuals, and expresses his personal integrity that his ideas will never change.) )
