Majestic: The Art of Menswear

This is the first time that the V&A Museum has hosted a large-scale special exhibition of men's wear art, bringing together about 100 sets of fashion models and 100 works of art. Through the works of well-known contemporary fashion designers and historical costumes, combined with classical sculpture, Renaissance paintings, photographs, videos and performances, the exhibition explores how designers, tailors and artists have constructed and expressed masculinity over the past centuries.

The "Three Masters of the Renaissance" Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Raphael overshadowed the brilliance of other artists, donatello (1386-1466). The exhibition discusses Donatello's artistic achievements in terms of materials, techniques and genres, and the Rijksmuseum berlin, the V&A in London, the Metropolitan of New York, the National Gallery in Washington, D.C., the Louvre in Paris, the Museum of Art and History in Vienna, the Uffizi Gallery and other institutions offer loans, and some of the exhibits have moved for the first time in 600 years.

After the renovation, 5 new galleries on the 2nd floor of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts wing, together with the existing space, created an entrance to the museum's collection of ancient Greek and Roman art. Flesh and Bones: The Art of Dissection

For centuries, anatomical drawings have been the intersection of art and science. The exhibition features 150 images of the human body from the 16th century to the present day, including the first edition of Vesalius's The Structure of the Human Body in 1543 and the interpretations of the human body by artists of different eras.
Independent Project: Decolonized Architecture in South Asia, 1947-1985

The exhibition focuses on how post-independence architects and engineers in South Asian countries embody political and social ambitions and new national identities, using limited, even barren, resources to build new cities. Curator Martino Stierli hopes to push South Asian architects who have long been in the "waiting room for history" back into a broader perspective.
Seclusion and Companionship: Seclusion and Social travel in Chinese painting

The special exhibition presents more than 120 calligraphy and painting artifacts from the 11th century to the 21st century and 1,000 years, exploring how Chinese literati express themselves through art. "Seclusion" or "socializing"? The exhibition attempts to explore this choice, reflecting on the reasons and ways people seek refuge or communicate with others.
Life and Afterlife in Ancient Egypt

Curated by the museum's independent "African Art Department" after its reorganization in 2020, the exhibition is from the museum's collection, through the artworks created by ancient Egyptians more than 3,000 years ago, imagining the life and civilization of that time.

One of the most versatile and creative artists of the early 16th century, Hans Holbein Jr. has intriguing attributes in his portraits, and his visual representation of the identity of the people in his paintings gives a glimpse of the erudite, luxurious, and intelligent Renaissance culture. The exhibition features more than 30 Paintings and Drawings by Holbein, the first time in the United States that such a large number of works by the Renaissance artist have been exhibited.
From Monet to Morisso: Truth and Imagination in European Art
