I like the art of sound, which is related to what I have heard since I was a child. My mother was a radio announcer, and I often followed my mother to the radio station since I was a child, where I gradually discovered the mystery of sound and felt the charm of sound. When I was admitted to the Acting Department of the Central Academy of Drama in 1982, I was even more full of nourishment in the jungle of art, and I was particularly fond of line classes and worked hard.

I still remember that when I was in my first year of college, I accompanied the Beijing Recitation Art Troupe to the National Culture Palace to participate in a poetry recital. My teacher and I were the first partners to recite the recitation of "The Pulse of Life", which praised Haidi Zhang. At the end of the recitation, while receiving applause from the audience, I also received the recognition and encouragement of the teachers on the same stage, which made me more confident in the recitation and made me take the first step on the road of recitation. Later, I followed Teachers Yin Zhiguang, Cao Can, Zhang Jiasheng and other teachers to perform many tours, constantly tempering and improving my recitation skills from practice and learning. Where there is giving, there is gain. After graduating from university, I received an invitation from Teacher Wei Shuxian and other teachers at the Shanghai Theater Academy, and since then I have taken root in Shanghai and become a line teacher at the Shanghai Theater Academy, closely linking myself with the art of sound.

Time has passed like a white colt, and now I have been at the Shanghai Theater Academy for 36 years. It is said that learning is endless, in the teaching of lines, I learn while teaching, follow the predecessors, follow the students, follow the times, and follow the life. Nowadays, watching their students become increasingly active in all corners of the field of literature and art, some on the screen, some on the stage, some on the podium, full and moving.

During my teaching, I have led several ethnic minority classes, which are still unforgettable. Because, he used to be my challenge, and now he is my pride.

I still remember that at that time, every year we would go to ethnic minority areas, especially some remote areas, to recruit some seedlings with good basic quality of actors, but most of them could not speak Chinese. How to let these children learn Chinese in a short period of time became a problem that I often thought about during that period. In my teaching practice, I continued to explore and gradually mastered the skills of quickly learning to speak Chinese. Therefore, as soon as these ethnic minority children arrived at school, I asked them to get used to using Mandarin Chinese in their daily lives, whether they thought or spoke, they were in Mandarin. If you don't know Chinese, start with the basic skills, practice the four tones of Chinese, learn Hanyu Pinyin, and read the "News Network" every day... Day after day, the children quickly mastered the basic skills of Chinese.

Here, they feel the power and beauty of Chinese, learn how to better master sound and language skills, how to convey emotions through sound, and better shape characters. Today, these children have grown up, and on the artistic stage of ethnic minorities, they have created wonderful works one after another, blooming with their own style and light.

Recitation has now become a popular form of language expression, how to bring different genres and styles of works to "sound into the hearts" of the audience and the audience, is worth serious exploration, but also the direction of my lifelong research. I hope to do a good job in this matter, and I hope that more people can appreciate the charm of Chinese Chinese words and words through recitation.

Therefore, my team and I have created a special lecture on "Learning to Paint with Sound and Language" in recent years, walking into the school, into the community, into the courtyard group, into the organs, to the side of recitation enthusiasts, with the art form of recitation as the carrier, leading everyone to discover the beauty of language, transmit the power of moving, purify the impetuous heart, and shape a noble personality. It is said that there are paintings in poetry and poetry in paintings. In fact, there can also be poetry and painting in sound, and sound in poetry and painting. Reciting a poem, a word, and an article is like depicting a painting, through the size of the volume, the level of the tone, the speed of speech, the strength of the strength, the text on the paper three-dimensional, so that the text wears different clothes, paints different colors, becomes flexible and vivid, full of vitality. In this way, the audience can be drawn into the world of sound and language, and breathe, experience, feel, think, create, and grow with the reciter.

In 2010, I set up a reading studio. The origin was that at that time, the Shanghai Theater Academy wanted to give a party lesson to all the party members and students of the school, and the school party committee asked me if I had any good suggestions. I propose that students can first learn to be grateful, grateful for family affection, love, and friendship, and then grateful for society, the party, and the motherland. My suggestion was taken, so I gave the students a unique party lesson, "Taste Warm, Read Life", first explained some recitation techniques to them, and then recited more than a dozen small articles for them. When the recitation is over, the students are still immersed in the world of recitation and do not want to leave for a long time. Later, I heard the parents of the students say that some students who rarely contacted their parents began to take the initiative to send WeChat and call greetings to their parents regularly, conveying long-lost love and warmth. As a result, a recitation class for new students every year has become an established activity of the school, and has continued to this day, not only passing on professional knowledge, but also carrying out silent education. It was also from then on that the reading studio was established, so that this kind of spring wind and rain, silent recitation from small classrooms to large classrooms, from schools to society, let fast-paced and busy people nourish their hearts in the spiritual world.

After the establishment of the reading studio, my students and I rehearsed three large-scale recitations, namely about the Anti-Japanese Family Letter, the Red Family Letter and the Martyrs' Family Letter. After determining the theme of the recitation, I asked them to find the materials for the family letters themselves, and then asked them to tell the story of the family letters, so that the process of searching became the process of education for the students. Rehearsal, on the other hand, is a process of deepening education. I remember that during a rehearsal, when a young teacher recited Zhao Yiman's dying family letter, she could not find the feeling for a long time, so I suggested that she seriously look up the story before and after the writing of the family letter, including the scene after Zhao Yiman's arrest. By the next day, the young teacher had properly expressed the emotion conveyed by the family letter. Later, the female teacher said that in the era of war, for peace, so many young lives were sacrificed so heroically. If the motherland is in difficulty, I am willing to stand up. In the recitation performance, everyone invariably chose silence in the background, with an immersive experience, with a sense of awe, with a recitation, to tell the story of the blood boiling. At the end of each performance, we received warm applause from the audience, and in their enduring applause, I felt the charm of telling the Story of China with sound.

Telling the Chinese story well is not only at home, but also internationally. I remember that during my study visit in Italy, I often communicated with some experts in Florence, and found that they were very familiar with Liang Sicheng and Lin Huiyin, and they liked their works on architecture very much. So I read them Lin Huiyin's poems, and they felt that Chinese architects were not only professionally capable, but also highly literate. I also recited Chinese version of Dante's poems for them, and they told me that it was the most beautiful version of Dante's poetry they had ever heard. They feel that listening to the language and voices of Chinese is a pleasure.

Yes, to tell the Chinese story well, it is not only in the story itself, but also in the carrier of telling the story - sound and language. The language of beauty will also bring the enjoyment of beauty.

Let more people enjoy the beauty of Chinese Chinese words, and tell Chinese stories well in the world of sound, I will always explore, think and practice. It's something that goes deep into my bone marrow. Just like now, every week I look for a new poem to record and recite, and if I am not satisfied with it, I will repeat it again until I am satisfied. Reading to me is not only a job and a career, but also an interest and a career. It is said that art is endless, and sound art is like a big treasure, its resources are inexhaustible and inexhaustible, providing us with unlimited possibilities and opportunities.

The performance of duties by the committee members has made me feel more responsible and missionful. I often ask myself, what can I do for my country? How can we better advise? From a professional point of view, I look for and investigate the issues that everyone cares about, such as aesthetic education in poor mountainous areas; from the perspective of people's livelihood, I pay attention to the lives of the people around me, especially some vulnerable groups, such as the integration of the disabled and the disabled. Provide reference suggestions for relevant departments. I hope that the warm light of the party can be sprinkled in all corners of the motherland; I hope that the beauty of Chinese can be shared with more people.
