Lotus Leaf Town is famous for its celebrities, heroines and poetry. These glossy titles are quite prestigious. It is said that she is the hometown of celebrities, because five people in this small township have been selected to be listed in the "Cihai": Zeng Guofan and Zeng Guoquan, the late Qing Dynasty, Zeng Jize, the foreign minister, Zeng Zhaolun, vice minister of education, and Zeng Zhaoyi, director of the Nanjing Museum. In fact, there are many celebrities who are not included in the "Ci Hai" and call it loudly. For example, Cai Hesen, an early leader of the Communist Party of China, and Zeng Xianzhi, vice chairman of the All-China Women's Federation. Heye Town is also the hometown of female masters, and there are ten female masters who are well-known throughout the country, among which Cai Chang, Qiu Jin, Tang Qunying and Xiang Jianyu are listed as the "Eight Female Masters of China in the Centenary".
Zeng Guo was an extremely popular subject, not only had outstanding military achievements, but his literature was also brilliant. During his lifetime, he wrote a large number of poems, poems, articles, diaries, and family letters. "Weaving and dismantling hemp is the end of ancient affairs, and the years of cattle clothes are the Xi Emperor.". The famous general Of the Xiang Army, Luo Zenan, was a subordinate of Zeng Guofan and an all-rounder in literature and martial arts. His "Climbing the Nine Peaks Mountain": "The Han and Tang Dynasties have changed in a stormy manner, and Zou Lu's articles have existed day by day". "Mountains near Hengyue thousands of mountains, water confluence of lakes and ten thousand sects." "All things prosper and wither with the number of qi, and the heavens and the earth in a hundred years are at dusk in the morning." And so on, it's all good poetry.
Ge Gengyu was a major general of the Kuomintang in Taiwan, capable of writing and martial arts, funny and witty, and a talent. A good sentence in his "Eighty Lyrics": "Lazy to ask the mountain spring to clear the turbidity, shame from the eunuch sea plan rises and sinks." "Shou Tu Ji once held the enemy Kou, and the people were determined to do good deeds." "I would rather know that foolishness is jealous of the times, but Bingqing diligently answers the other cang." "Birthday Book": "Floating life and vain ambitions, uncle ji faint shame vegetarian meal". "But yang Zen is willing to be lonely, and to know salty acid for the sake of the world." His poems are clear and superb, have the style of Du Fu, do not follow the customs, and dare to be indifferent.
Lotus leaf also has a group of female poets, and their poems are well written. Such as: Liu Jian, Guo Yun, Qiu Jin, Tang Qunying, Zeng Guangshan, Zeng Baosun, Zeng Zhaoyi, etc., many of their works have indeed reached the strength of pure fire, passed down to future generations, and are worth reading carefully.
