On March 31, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage of China announced the top ten new archaeological discoveries in China in 2021 in Beijing. Ten major projects spanning 130,000 years provide scientific basis and physical evidence for the study of human origin and evolution, the origin, formation and development of Chinese civilization. According to the chronological order, these ten new archaeological discoveries are: Sichuan Daocheng Piluo Ruins, Henan Nanyang Huangshan Ruins, Hunan Lixian Chicken Calling City Ruins, Shandong Tengzhou Gangshang Ruins, Sichuan Guanghan Sanxingdui Ruins Sacrifice Area, Hubei Yunmeng Zhengjiahu Cemetery, Shaanxi Xi'an Jiangcun Tombs, Gansu Wuwei Tang Dynasty Tuguhun Royal Family Tombs, Xinjiang WeiliKk Kuduk Beacon Ruins, Anhui Fengyang Mingzhongdu Ruins.
