The site of the Keyak Kuduk Beacon is located in a desert area 90 kilometers southeast of Yuli County, Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Through three consecutive years of excavations, the archaeologists not only discovered the remains of the beacon body and related facilities, but also cleaned up and excavated 1450 pieces (groups) of various cultural relics.
