Li Zhengmao, general manager of China Telecom, delivered an online speech, saying that at present, China Telecom has saved more than 100 billion yuan in 4G and 5G co-construction and sharing, saving more than 10 billion tons of application costs and more than 10 billion tons of electricity every year, which is equivalent to reducing carbon emissions by more than 6 million tons.
"Through co-construction and sharing, we have quickly built the world's largest and fastest 5G SA sharing network in the shortest possible time with less investment." Li Zhengmao mentioned in his speech. China Telecom and China Unicom have created a new model of 5G network co-construction and sharing, through the complementarity of resources and frequency mutual use of the two sides, jointly build and operate "one physical network, two logical networks", and achieve the good effect of "1+1>2" of doubling the scale, doubling the coverage and doubling the speed.
