Drawing on montage techniques, the picture of "Double Qing Villa" combines most of the democrats that Chairman Mao met before the CPPCC session, reflecting the atmosphere of Mao Zedong's frank and open listening to the opinions of non-party democrats, and also showing the scene of Mao Zedong establishing a deep friendship with them.

Zhang Junming, as an associate professor and master tutor of the School of Urban Design of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, under the great attention and strong support of the college for the creation of major theme art, has created a number of works focusing on the history of the party, the history of new China and reality in recent years, and the oil paintings created by him, "Aviation Newspaper Heroic Model - Luo Yang", were grandly launched in CCTV's "Party History in Art Classics"; "Chen Wangdao's Translation< The Communist Manifesto >" and "Three-Line Construction" were exhibited in the History Exhibition Hall of the Communist Party of China. "Shuangqing Villa" is an oil painting created for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China at the special invitation of the Beijing Artists Association in 2021 as a special project of the Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles to support literary and artistic creation, and has been exhibited in the Red Chamber of Peking University and the Art Museum of Li Keyan Painting Institute.

At the ceremony, Mr. Zhang Junming talked about the creation process of the painting: "I came to the Shuangqing Villa many times, carefully observed the architecture here, watched the historical photos in the exhibition hall, and felt and understood the scene and mood of Chairman Mao's meeting with democrats in Xiangshan and discussing state affairs with them for the construction of a new China. The explainer here also gave me a lot of help, some details in the picture, such as Chairman Mao using his own rattan chair to transform the 'bamboo palanquin' to carry the elderly patriotic overseas Chinese Situ Meitang up the mountain, after listening to the narrator's introduction, I also painted this 'bamboo palanquin'. ”

At the donation ceremony, Liu Yan, director of the China Artists Association and deputy secretary general of the Beijing Artists Association, and Mr. Zhang Junming jointly unveiled the painting. Kang Ling, deputy director of Xiangshan Park, expressed her heartfelt thanks for the donation of paintings, and said in her speech that March 26, 73 years ago, was the day chairman Mao met the first democrat Huang Yanpei in shuangqing villa, which was very suitable for the theme of this painting, and it was very meaningful to hold a donation ceremony today, so that the paintings returned to the place where history occurred and were displayed to the public, which not only reflected a painter's sense of responsibility for giving back to the society, but also enhanced the publicity and appeal of the works of art to serve the people. It is believed that in the future, through paintings, citizens and tourists will have a deeper understanding of the historical chapter of the CPC Central Committee laying the foundation for new China in Xiangshan. After the donation, the original paintings will be stored in the library, and the copied works will be exhibited in the Red Book House of Shuangqing Villa.
