Women are twice as likely to develop depression as men, and up to 1 in 4 women will experience severe depression at some point in their lives, which may be related to changes in hormone levels throughout a woman's life.
During puberty, pregnancy, menopause, and after childbirth or miscarriage, women's hormone levels vary significantly, leading to premenstrual syndrome or premenstrual anxiety disorder.

They may behave as follows:
1. Persistent sadness, anxiety or "emptiness" emotions;
2. Lose interest in recreational activities or feel no pleasure from them, including sexual behavior;
3. Irritable, irritable, or extremely sad, often crying;
4, feel guilty, worthless, helpless, hopeless, pessimistic;
5. Drowsiness or insomnia, waking up very early;
6. Appetite and/or weight loss, or overeating, weight gain;
7, feel no energy, fatigue;
8. Death, suicidal thoughts or attempted suicide;
9. Difficulty concentrating, memory loss or indecision;
10. Persistent physical symptoms that do not respond to treatment, such as headache, digestive disorders and chronic pain.
Sometimes, depressed women suddenly experience high mood, which may be because she has bipolar disorder.
Bipolar disorder ranges from low points of depression to high points of mania, and mood changes can fluctuate over days, weeks, or months.
This is also a serious disease that requires timely treatment.
Symptoms of mania are as follows:
1. The mood is abnormally high
2. Irritability
3. Reduced sleep needs
4, the idea is unrealistic
5. Increased desire to talk and chat
6, the thoughts are like a tide
7. Increased activities, including sexual activity
8. Significant increase in energy
9. Poor judgment can easily lead to risky behavior
10. Inappropriate social behavior
