Since its announcement at Blizzard Carnival in 2019, Diablo 4 has been announcing the latest news through the developer blog, involving development progress, art design, and game mechanics. This blog is published about every 3 months and is called quarterly update. The most recent quarterly update will take place next week, with some official previews.

The first is the new art form, the past style is criticized as too mild, which is compared to Diablo 2. Blizzard listened to players and made some improvements, saying that it would return to the origin of the series and retain the dark atmosphere of the early darkness. The developers also claim that Diablo 4's artistic style was influenced by Renaissance and Romantic landscape painting. In next week's update (officials posted a trailer on Twitter), the focus will be on whether the sanctuary scene represents a new dark aesthetic that is worth paying attention to.
Dark Art Design Books:
The shelter has five distinct areas, including Scosglen, Dry Steppes, Fractured Peaks, Kehjistan and Hawezar. The Caikistán Empire appeared in the second act of Diablo 3 and now joins Diablo 4. As the empire's once most prosperous city and the world's trading center, the new landscape of Caldeum is worth noting, although the city has been destroyed by Masayir.
Diablo 4 has five classes, four of which have been announced: Barbarian, Wizard, Druid, and Ranger, and players are looking forward to seeing the last one next week, predicting that it could be a knight or a bard, or even an Amazon of the same origin as Diablo 2.
The quarterly updates represent blizzard's positive communication attitude, and the efforts of the Dark Team have been positively responded to by the player community.
