The world's longest car is longer in 35 years: the 30.54-meter body was built for the king

A super luxury sedan recently broke the Guinness World Record for the "world's longest car" that it had held for 35 years, and the repaired body was lengthened by 1.5 inches from the original 100 feet to 30.54 meters. Most cars are reported to be between 12 and 16 feet (3.6 and 4.2 meters) in size.

The repaired "World's Longest Car" has a new look.

Built in 1986 in Burbank, California, in 1986, the luxury car was originally 60 feet (18.28 meters) long and had a pair of V8 engines at the front and rear. That year, it was first recognized by Guinness World Records as "the world's longest car".

Alberg later lengthened the limousine to 100 feet (30.5 meters) long, equipped with king-friendly features including a Jacuzzi, mini golf, helipad and even a swimming pool with diving boards.

The luxury car is equipped with features suitable for the king to use.

In addition to its grand features, it is equipped with several TVs, a refrigerator and a telephone.

Not only that, but this limousine can be driven from both ends, can accommodate more than 75 people, and has 26 wheels.

As one of the most exclusive vehicles ever built, this extra-long luxury sedan is often rented out and appears in various movies.

Super luxury cars have been abandoned in warehouses for a long time, unable to be repaired and unattended.

However, after the world lost interest, the legendary car went unnoticed for years and began to rust until some parts became irreparable and were long abandoned behind a warehouse in New Jersey.

It was eventually hung on eBay, where it changed hands twice, but was eventually bought by its current owner, Michael Dezer, for an undisclosed price.

Desser hired Michael Manning to help fix it. On March 1 this year, the luxury sedan was officially confirmed to have broken its own Guinness World Record, and the restored body was extended by 1.5 inches.

It is reported that the repair cost more than $250,000 and took three years. While it will no longer stop in warehouses waiting for people to appreciate, it won't necessarily hit the road either.

"You really can't get it on the road because it's too long." Manning said.

The car is currently on display at the De zeland Park Auto Museum in Orlando, Florida.
