In fact, an hour before the official broadcast of Wuji, QJMOTOR official micro also pushed a warm-up tweet about the upcoming debut of the new car in the evening.
This large pedal has been seen as early as last year's Chongqing Motorcycle Expo, and the ministry of industry and information technology at the end of last year's new car registration directory, this car also officially appeared. I believe it will be officially released soon.
The car features a single-cylinder water-cooled engine with a displacement of 350cc and a maximum power of 25.2 kW. What is more interesting is that the maximum power of the SR4 MAX after the output is reduced is 21.25kW, while the C400X of an international brand is very close to the QJ350, which is also 25kW.
In terms of curb weight, this QJ350 is only 198kg (the version without a tailbox is 195kg), and it is still good in terms of lightweight (reference model no pole 214kg). The wheels are available in front 120/70-15 and rear 150/70-14, which is the mainstream configuration of this class. As for the tires, the display car at the Chongqing booth is equipped with Pirelli tires, and it remains to be seen whether the subsequent mass production cars will be used.
In other aspects, the car adopts a front dual and rear single braking system, the front is BYBRE radial calipers, the front and rear dual channel ABS system, provided by Zhejiang Yizhong Intelligent Electric, its version is 9.1; in addition, the car should adopt keyless start and large-screen TFT instrumentation. As for the presence or absence of TC, it is not known at this time.
The news released by the official micro also includes that the shape design of this car comes from the famous Ricciardo design company, so we can see that it has some similarities with the style of a 400X.
Ricardo is one of the big four in global vehicle engineering and internal combustion engine design, along with AVL in Austria, FEV in Germany, and Southwest Research Institute in the United States. Founded in 1915 by Harry Ricciardo, it is now 107 years old.
Ricardo is a world-class R&D company, especially in vehicle engineering technology and engine and driveline tuning at the world's top level. The cars he has participated in the design include many supercars and famous motorcycles, such as the Bugatti Veyron, McLaren, BMW, Ferrari, Jaguar Land Rover, Rolls-Royce, etc., all of which have been partners of Ricciardo.
QJ350 chooses the top international design company to carry out the shape design, although the cost may not be less, but the relatively mature design can avoid detours to a certain extent, and it is easier to get market recognition, which should be a good attempt.
