In February, three models of autonomous mid-size SUVs sold more than 10,000 units. Among them, the Hongqi HS5 won the sales championship of its own mid-size SUV with sales of 12,311 units, an increase of 89.4% year-on-year; but compared with January, sales were almost waist-thin.
Chery Tiggo 8 sold 10,562 units, ranking second, also lower than last month's 16,240 units, an increase of 11.9% year-on-year. As a medium-sized SUV, the Tiggo 8 is still very popular with consumers with its cost-effective advantages.
BYD Tang New Energy sales grew steadily, ranking third with sales of 10,426 vehicles, up 791.9% year-on-year. BYD Tang New Energy's main sales model is Tang DM, which sells 10,026 units, while Tang EV sells only 400 vehicles.
Compared with the above three models, the sales gap between other mid-size SUVs is large. Among them, the sales volume of the Jietu X70 series was 5361 units, ranking fourth, down 9.5% year-on-year. Changan UNI-K sold 4,040 vehicles, ranking fifth.
Both the Xingtu TXL and NIO ES6 sold more than 3,000 units, at 3,551 and 3,309 respectively, ranking sixth and seventh. In addition, the sales of the Fengguang 580, Geely Haoyue, Changan CS85 COUPE and Trumpchi GS8 exceeded 2,000 vehicles, with different degrees of year-on-year growth.
