The latest statistics show that about 70% of Elden Ring players have already defeated the game's first major boss, Margit, a nightmare, encountered at the entrance to Storm Castle.
According to the game achievement page on the PC platform Steam, 70.7% of players beat the bad omen boss, ranking second in the game, behind the Roundtable Hold (78.1%), and another 61.3% beat the big boss Greg.
It's a similar situation on the PlayStation. 68% of the players beat Margit and 57.6% beat Greg. The game may sell slightly less on the PlayStation, but given its huge sales on all platforms and the number of simultaneous online players, the average PC platform is more representative.
On Xbox, since achievement percentages aren't necessarily tracked publicly, there's no accurate statistic on the percentage of players beating bosses on the platform.
