In order to cut off the transmission of the disease and protect the health of the people, on the afternoon of May 10, Donghuan Street organized all villages (communities) in the street to carry out a large-scale operation to prevent and control dengue fever and eliminate mosquitoes.
In the Jingu community, the community working group led more than 20 people including all staff of the Jingu community, community party member volunteers, and cleaning personnel of the property company to carry out dengue fever prevention and mosquito control actions, clean up the sanitary dead corners and green belts of the community, and the property company carried out mosquito control and sanitization within the community, so as to thoroughly treat the possible breeding grounds of mosquitoes from the source.

The cadres of the "two committees" of Gantang Village organized more than 20 party member volunteers, members of the home guard team, cleaners, and villagers to participate in the action, and the staff were divided into groups to check and clean up the sanitary dead corners, cold alleys, green belts, sewers, and debris accumulation in the jurisdiction, and carried out mosquito sanitization work in key locations, so as to leave no mosquitoes to survive and hide the environment. In this operation, a total of 5 sanitary dead corners were cleaned up, 8 pots and cans were turned over, 2 mosquito breeding sites were cleaned up, 10 small and medium-sized stagnant water were cleaned up, and more than 80 mosquito control tablets were distributed.

Dongsha Village organized team members, municipal personnel, and party members (masses) volunteers to participate in the activities to sanitize the open space, laneways, green belts, sewers, etc. around the front and back of the house to reduce the density of adult mosquitoes. At the same time, the knowledge of dengue fever prevention was widely disseminated, mosquito tablets were distributed to the villagers free of charge, and units and schools in the area were urged to clean up mosquito breeding sites and spray mosquito habitats such as flowers.

The village on the left organized a unified action to eliminate mosquitoes and improve environmental sanitation. Members of the village committee, Donghuan Street staff, volunteers, etc., went to the corners to clean up fallen trees and sanitary garbage and use them to transport the garbage to the garbage dump, so as to give the villagers a clean, tidy, comfortable and orderly living environment.
This action fully mobilized the enthusiasm of the villagers to participate in village (community) health. In the next step, Donghuan Street will continue to carry out dengue fever prevention work, strengthen the publicity of mosquito control work, and call on the general public to cooperate with the prevention and control work in an all-round way to jointly protect a hygienic and tidy home.
