Apple previously held a product launch to announce the launch of a new generation of iPhone SE and a series of other new products, including Mac Studio, iPad Air and so on. The new generation of iPhone SE supporting 5G uses the same A15 bionic chip as the iPhone 13, and retains the nostalgic Home button, which can be said to be an all-round performance upgrade. But there is another highlight that Apple did not disclose, that is, the new generation of iPhone SE is equipped with 4GB of RAM, which is higher than the previous generation of 3GB.

According to MacRumors, German programmer Moritz Sternemann, confirmed by strings in the Xcode 13.3 RC version released after Apple Peek Performance, found that the third-generation iPhone SE was equipped with 4GB of memory, compared to only 3GB in the previous model. Previous Xcode strings also accurately revealed the amount of RAM in several generations of iPhones and iPads. For example, last year's string clearly shows that Apple's sixth-generation iPad mini has also been increased to 4GB of RAM.

Apple previously highlighted that it brings upgrades such as the A15 bionic chip and 5G support, longer battery life, camera upgrades and more rugged glass. Although the third generation of the iPhone SE has hardly changed in terms of design as the previous generation, it is believed that the upgrade of the specifications will allow the iPhone SE to be more fluent in pictures and multitasking. The third-generation iPhone SE is available in black, white, and red, with 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage options priced at HK$3,699, HK$4,149 and HK$4,999 respectively.
