Collaborating online in Eldon's Circle of Law is much simpler than being online in Previous FromSoftware titles, even easier than what you might see in the game's web test.
The online system of Eldon's Ring of Law is roughly similar to that found in Dark Souls, Demon Souls, and Bloodborne Curse, in that players first need to use consumable items to open up their world before allowing their companions to join in. However, this time, players no longer need to go all over the world to find those rare online items, but can make the items needed for the online connection through the incomparably common materials.
This prop, called the "Summoning Finger Medicine", is made of two deciduous flowers, which are grown everywhere as a raw material, at least in the open areas of the game world. In other words, in the early hours of the game, players can create a large number of items, and can easily summon companions to come to the battle multiple times.
Also, as always, it's easier to help in the game than to ask for help, you just need to write down the summon message through the infinitely available item "Fader Old Finger", and then players who use the "Hook Medicine" item in other worlds can see the message and summon you to their world.
In the three games Dark Souls, Demon Souls, and Bloodborne Curse, players need to use items such as Embers, Pupil Stone, Madman's Knowledge, and Resonance Species to summon other players to fight together. Death interrupts the connection, so in those particularly difficult boss battles, players can easily consume several online items after trying over and over again. Although Eldon's Ring of Law uses the same online system as these previous games, due to the low cost of using the Hook Finger Medicine, the experience of the online function in this game is significantly different.
In the Soul series and Bloodborne Curse, online props are best reserved for boss battles that require help from others, and in Eldon's Ring, where only two common materials are needed to synthesize online props, everyone can happily explore the border in the form of up to four people online, and players as world masters will not have the cost of props. The game's game world is also perfect for multiplayers to explore together, and there's a lot to explore and discover in a world that's much larger than any of FromSoftware's previous titles.
In addition, Eldon's Ring of Law allows players to summon NPC allies that don't need to consume items, and you only need to find the golden summoning mark that summons NPCs (usually outside the boss room) to call in allies to help you fight.
While Eldon's Ring of Law isn't a co-op game in the traditional sense, a small change to the online system does make the game a simpler and easier online experience than previous FromSoftware titles. This is a good thing for players who don't have much experience with "souls" games, and summoning friends and playing together will make the game experience less painful, and it may be easier to advance the game progress.
