Data miner Lance McDonald tweeted that the PS5 version of Demon Souls still has many new items that have not been discovered.
According to Lance McDonald, Blue Dot Studios added a number of new items to the game that haven't yet been discovered, but he doesn't know if these items can be obtained by players in a hidden way, or if they can only be found in the game data. He said he would do it if he knew how to get the items, but for now he can only be sure that they are at least in the game data.
Lance McDonald also said that cracking the PS5 is the only way to learn about them, and all he knows so far is that there are 4 undiscovered props in the PS5 Demon Souls, and he knows their names. In the tweet, however, Lance McDonald did not mention where he heard the news or whether it was inside. Lance McDonald finally explained that the items might have been available in the game, but he wasn't sure, and if he found it impossible, he would explain it again.
Subsequent Twitter posts revealed that some players had noticed that some of the props in the concept art of the in-game gallery did not appear in the actual game, such as the mysterious Ring of the Chief and some unused armor.
There is no doubt that Demon Souls has many secrets that players have never seen before, waiting to be revealed. Like most soul games, these secrets require players to take some time to dig into, and Lance McDonald knows this all too well.
