There is no clarification on why these tags were removed from the game genre, but the act could be related to a security breach that took the Dark Souls family of servers offline earlier this year. As early as January, some players found that there was a serious vulnerability in the "Dark Souls 3" server, hackers could use the vulnerability to steal user information in the background, and attack their computers to paralyze it, the official then said that the vulnerability did exist, shutting down the PC server of the Dark Souls series. At the time, Bandai Namco said the PvP server would be "temporarily deactivated so that the team could investigate recent questions about online services." On February 9, Bandai Namco and developer FromSoftware said that these online services will not return until the launch of Eldon's Law Ring, but as of today, more than a month after the game's release, neither side has updated the news.

The move to remove the game tag has left many fans worried that the multiplayer feature may never come back. Last fall, the gaming community suffered a similar fate in Little Planet Adventures, with servers being attacked and officially removing the hashtag eventually causing the PS3 server to be permanently shut down. But there are also fans who consider that Bandai Namco and FromSoft's attention may now be firmly focused on The Ring of Eldon, so there may not be time to focus on maintaining the server.

But the last production team that ignored the previous game server was called "Rebirth", and also contributed a famous scene for players, because the production team ignored the online server of "Titanfall", so out of love for the old game, hackers collectively attacked "apex" and caused its entire server to be paralyzed, hoping that Bandai Namco and FromSoft would not focus on the glory of "Elden's Ring", care a little about the old predecessors, fix the loopholes to avoid taking the old road of rebirth.
