E-Car News today (March 10), from GAC E-An official learned that its self-developed power battery trial production line piling began construction, marking the "Proposal on the Construction Project of Self-developed Battery Trial Production Line" deliberated and passed by GAC Group in October last year. It is also a milestone for GAC Aean's self-developed power battery.
It is understood that GAC Aean's self-developed battery trial production line project covers an overall area of about 10,500 square meters, including the whole process of battery production process from slurry preparation to battery Pack, as well as laboratories for material research and development, physical and chemical testing, and electrical performance.
The self-developed battery trial production line is expected to be completed by the end of 2022 and officially put into operation. GAC Aean's self-developed batteries, including sponge silicon anode chip batteries, will be produced independently in this trial production line, bringing users a step ahead of the enjoyment of science and technology.
