IT House March 9 news, MSI released a product announcement, recently received some feedback from some users, they are using MAG CORELIQUID 240R / MAG CORELIQUID 360R water-cooled radiator, the heat dissipation efficiency has decreased.
MSI's preliminary investigation found that a small percentage of heat sinks can produce deposits that can cause clogging, causing CPU temperatures to rise above 60°C when idle. However, this does not cause any damage to the system because the processor is equipped with a protection mechanism against overheating.
MSI says users can look up product serial numbers here to determine if they have affected products. MSI will officially provide a full product replacement (MAG CORELIQUID 240R V2 / 360R V2) service for all affected products with thermal anomalies.
