In an effort to expand its gaming division, Netflix reportedly announced the appointment of Roberto Barrera as the company's head of game strategy, planning and analytics.

Barrera originally joined PlayStation in 2011 as a senior analyst and worked at PlayStation for nearly 11 years, during which time he served as the company's senior director of strategy.
In the past period, Netflix has been expanding its gaming business through "digging and digging" and "buying, buying, buying".
Previously, Netflix hired mike Verdu, a former executive of Facebook and EA, and Amir Rahimi, former game president of Scopely, to join the game studio.
Netflix also acquired Night School Studio, the developer of Oxenfree, and took all of the shares of Next Games, the developer of Stranger Things: Puzzle Tales, for about 65 million euros.
