Red Net Moment Changsha, March 4 (Reporter Peng Chao Correspondent Peng Huan) On March 4, Changsha Kaifu District held the "2022 National Cervical Cancer and Breast Cancer Prevention and Treatment Publicity Consultation and 'Two Cancers' Screening Public Welfare Activities". On the occasion of International Women's Day on March 8, a health package was given to female friends.

At the event site, Gao Jie, deputy director of the Department of Maternal and Child Health Of Hunan Provincial Maternal and Child Health Hospital, gave a health lecture with the theme of "Healthier and More Beautiful", and gave an in-depth and simple explanation on reproductive tract infections, breast health care and the prevention of cervical cancer and breast cancer, so that everyone realized the importance of early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment of diseases. Residents from New River Street listened attentively and interacted actively with experts. "After listening to the knowledge of cervical cancer, breast cancer and women's reproductive health, I think it is still necessary to maintain good living habits and prevent the most important thing." Ms. Wang from the Kaifu Temple community in Xinhe Subdistrict said.

At the event site, the expert team of the Kaifu District Maternal and Child Health Care Family Planning Service Center provided free "two cancers" screening services for low-income women in the district, including vaginal discharge test, TCT cervical fluid-based cytology, HPV examination, breast ultrasound, etc., reminding them to maintain a healthy lifestyle and pay attention to regular physical examinations. For women diagnosed with gynecological diseases, medical staff made timely recommendations for diagnosis and treatment. "The physical examination is free, and the doctor's service attitude is good and warm." Ms. Zhou, a resident of the Kaifu temple community, said.

After the screening, the staff distributed health education materials and small gifts to the female friends who came to participate in the screening. The event attracted more than 100 people to listen to health lectures, provided free consultation and free "two cancers" screening services for nearly 100 women, and distributed more than 1,000 copies of various publicity materials.

In recent years, the incidence and mortality of cervical cancer and breast cancer in the mainland have increased year by year, and they have obviously become younger, which is the two main "killers" that threaten women's health. "Two cancers" screening is the "umbrella" to ensure women's health, early detection, early diagnosis, early treatment can greatly reduce the detection rate and case fatality rate of "two cancers".

From now on, the free screening of "two cancers" for school-age women in Kaifu District in 2022 has been launched. Women aged 35-64 who have household registration in Kaifu District or hold a residence permit in Kaifu District (the residence permit is within the validity period) and have not participated in the national, provincial, municipal and Kaifu District "two cancers" free examinations from 2020 to 2021 can participate in free "two cancers" screening at the community health service centers in the streets under their jurisdiction.
