The organizers have to send people to keep the power of each car uniformly reduced to only 25%, and can only use HEV mode (can not force the use of EV), energy recovery set to larger, air conditioning 24 degrees Celsius, 2 wind block. The driving texture is very much like a pure electric model
As the latest SUV under DM-i technology, the core highlight of BYD Song Pro DM-i is undoubtedly the DM-i super hybrid system equipped with a 1.5L high-efficiency engine for Snap Cloud Plug-in hybrid, an EHS hybrid system and a blade battery. At the first moment of driving the BYD Song Pro DM-i, the intuitive feeling of this car to me was really quiet, like a pure tram. The logic of DM-i technology is mainly based on electric drive, and the engine is more of a charging role. Therefore, like our test drive in the main urban area of Chongqing, in the speed range of 30-60km/h, the NVH performance of Song Pro DM-i is not something that ordinary fuel vehicles can have.
In addition, even if it has been in a state of about 25% power loss, the driving quality of this car has not been discounted. Its acceleration feels very light and smooth, without dragging mud and water.
More than ten cars, the average fuel consumption of 100 kilometers is more than 4 liters
The author drove this car in two rotations, under a more relaxed driving method, in the end we drove 76 kilometers, showing that the fuel consumption of 100 kilometers was 4.1L. We returned to the starting point, filled the fuel tank to the edge again with the same oil gun, and finally refueled 3.02 liters, divided by the actual mileage, and finally the actual fuel consumption of 100 kilometers was 3.97 liters, which was slightly lower than the apparent data.
This figure is already nearly half a liter below the official fuel consumption data, which is said to be quite good, but in fact we did not win the fuel saving championship, and the results were only at the middle level.
The group that won the championship was forced to freeze the fuel consumption of the car at 3.632 liters in the extreme driving state of "no food, no drink, no window". The entire more than ten test drives participating in the challenge, the fuel consumption is actually relatively close, and the average fuel consumption is only about 4 liters in the end.
Someone at the scene joked that even if you put the throttle into the engine compartment, its fuel consumption is 5 or 6 liters. I agree with this view.
